When I first started vaping, I had a basic ego twist battery with kranger tank. I really like the portability of this system. However, being that I really want to immerse myself in the hobby and save more money over smoking, I find myself pulled towards the RBAs. I currently have a svoemesto rba with a Panzer mech mod that I'm testing out to see what I like. Overall, I like the vapor cloud I get, but the size is too much to be easily portable and it's HEAVY. My dream PV would be a VV/VW that's easily handheld (SMALL) and a smaller RBA.

What I want:
Portable *big one
small
VV/VW
pass thru charging (vape and charge)

Preferable Features:
Ohm testing
auto short shut off

My panzer mech mod is pretty nice, but this thing is just so big and heavy. I like the power it packs, but I was just as happy with the power from my ego twist. I want something that will last a decent amount of time on a charge or has changeable batteries. I've also found I'm NOT a fan of the bottom buttons, I have little hands and find them hard to use one handed, which can defeat the point of an ecig. I want something easily hand held with a side button. Any and all suggestions are much appreciated :)

Maybe an Eleaf iStick and an Aqua RBA?

Eleaf iStick

http://www.ncvapeshop.com/collections/atomizers-rdas/products/aqua-rebuildable-atomizer

You can find an iStick for cheaper elsewhere, just added that URL for information purposes. It's pretty small, maybe half the size my palm, and I have medium to small hands for a man. I've had one for a week or so and like it so far, and I believe it matches all of your criteria. Runs about $35 most places, including Ebay.

The link for the Aqua is the cheapest price I've seen for them. I bought two from that site and have been satisified. The Aquas are 21mm in diameter, while the Kayfun is 22mm.

For RBAs you mostly want to stay above 1 ohm, which is the lower limit of the iStick; if you want to go below 1 ohm you'll want a dripper RDA and another device.

I've also been looking into this:

VaporFiVaporFi

but it's super expensive. Price isn't as big a deal as quality to me. Since I'm just getting into mod and RBAs, the lower the chance of me exploding my ecig, the better.

Details:
Adjustable Output Power From 7 w - 50 w (in 0.1 w increments)
Accepts Atomizer Resistance from 0.2 ohm (sub) - 3.0 ohm
Digital OLED Screen
Output Voltage: 3.0 v - 8.5 v
Input Voltage: 3.2 v - 4.2 v
Maximum Output Current: 22 Amps
510 Threading with Adjustable Pin
Replaceable Battery
Output Short-Circuit Protection
Reverse Battery Protection (protection against inserting battery upside-down)
Auto Ohm Resistance Meter (Finds ideal voltage for RBA/RDA)
Low Voltage Protection
Low Resistance Protection
Input High Voltage Warning
Temperature Protection
USB Pass Through Charging System
Vented Battery Casing
Pocket Sized: 95 mm x 42 mm x 22 mm
6 month warranty included with purchase

Has anyone used one of these? They literally just came out, so may be a little soon for reviews.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm looking into the eleaf and it really does seem to fit the bill, but I can't seem to find any reviews :/. The low price point+seems to be too good makes me wonder. Do you have one or know anyone who does?
I've had mine for about a week. Coming from an Itaste VV 3.0, it's a step up. I'm using it with a Nautilus Mini and an Aspire BDC (using BVC coils) both at 1.8 Ohms. Long battery life, ample power and the very small form factor make it a winner for me!
