Need help with Aspire 1.6/1.8 ohm BVC

Hello all, I'm new to this forum and have a question that has probably already been answered many times..however nothing has worked for me so far. With both my Nautilus/Nautilus mini I've even burning through coils at an alarming pace. I'm using 1.6ohm BVC in my full size with 75/25 pg/vg rich tobacco flavouring at 4.0V and 1.8ohm BVC in my mini using the same liquid. My device is a ProVari Mini. I'm getting around 1-3 days off my coils and I've tried soaking them in vodka for 12 hours then re trying them with no success. I'm also a clean freak and regularly clean my tanks and coils and always prime the wicks with e liquid before using as well as letting them sit as long as possible to soak. One more note, I never allow the liquid to drop more then 1/3 to prevent dry hits. I just don't get it, what am I doing wrong? This is my third box and they are real laser etched BVC's. Plz help! I have some Gorilla juice and Bobas Bounty coming which is 100% VG and if I'm having this many issues with 75%pg I'm afraid to see what will happen with thicker liquid.

Are your juices dark? If so, those do tend to gunk up a coil pretty quick. Jmo, but 4 v is kinda high for 1.6 ohms to me. I know it doesn't seem like much but that'd taste burnt on most juices I use. I use a Provari 2.5 and it's pretty solid on voltage output. I'd run 1.6 ohms at no higher than 3.6v. You could be burning them up. This is just my theory. I use the calculation for setting volts as follows: you add +2 volts to every ohm. Example is if I had a 2.0 ohm and added my +2 I'd set my gear at 4 volts.

I'm sure you're aware that the higher the vg the gunkier it'll make the coil too. The only other thing I can think of is you got a bad batch....but you got 3 days out of each one so that kinda leans me in the direction of it being your juice or the volts being too high/combo of both.

Thanks Detramental. My juice is a darker almost Amber colour. I heard the darker it is the more ingredients it has, not sure if there's any truth to that. I'll definitely try using my 1.6's at 3.6V and see how that turns out. Here's what I don't understand, I hear all the time people saying," I use my 1.6/1.8 ohm bcc' sat 11-14 watts and they're working great and last two weeks." How in gods name is that even possible regardless of what ty
