It is possible your batteries have gone, but you were the lucky enough and they haven't exploded yet.
Screw the ebay for batteries, everyone rewraps everything nowadays, if you want a real thing search the forum for online shops selling IMR, not INR batteries...
Look for LG, Sony VTC, samsung AW etc. When you get a new batteries try again, in the meantime make sure atty is making a good contact with mod itself. Not sure if that box mod haves adjustable center pin, but if it does, it's quite possible you simply need to readjust it.

+1. Buy good batteries from a trusted vendor. I did not know they made a 50w regulated box, every one I have seen is an unregulated parallel mod. If it really is regulated-- it has buttons on it to adjust the wattage up and down-- I recommend Samsung 25R batteries. If its unregulated, Sony VTC4s. Buy them from Orbtronic, Illumn or RTDVapor and you will get real ones. Since I cant find your mod, I can't tell what kind of 510 connection it has. If it's adjustable, it may need to be adjusted up to contact the atty. If spring loaded, it may be stuck at the bottom of its travel. Use something nonmetallic to free it up, tooth pick works. Don't put INR batteries in your mod. They are not safe for vaping. You want IMR. Good luck and welcome to the board.

Wrong,
INR is a hybrid chemistry battery and is as safe as IMR.
LiNiMnCoO2 / I = lithium Ion anode, N = Nickel manganese cathode material, R Round cell.

The Samsung 25r that is highly recommended & thought of is an INR chemistry.
Samsung INR18650-25R 2500mah
Samsung INR18650-30Q 3000mah

LG Chem also uses hybrid / INR chemistry.

Sony is also a hybrid chemistry, weighted more heavily on manganese cathode.
LMnNiCoO2.

When someone that knows batteries says, use IMR/hybrid chemistry batteries, INR is one of the hybrid chemistries.

ebay batteries are a crap shoot, always best to buy from reputable vendors/dealers.

Since the Samsung 25R batteries you recommended Are INR.....

INR batteries are perfectly acceptable. It's the ICR batteries (like the Ultrafire ones the OP bought) that are not.

Do Not Use Any batteries with the name "Fire" in them. You risk venting and/or worse.

Quite right, I had a brain disconnect.
It is ICR batteries that should be avoided.
