Mark, I would not put a cinnamon juice in a plastic clearo. I have not done it myself, but like you I've read about the issue. I an vaping a cinnamon juice in a VN with a metal sleeve as I type and I can tell you that works great. Bets of luck with it and happy new year :toast:

I don't know what plastic the Kanger T3 is made of, but I second bigmike's suggestion. Some of the new DCT are made out of a much more resistant plastic, polypropylene I believe. Although with VIVI NOVA and a metal sleeve you shouldn't have to worry.

You can also buy a carto tank to use with volatile juices and keep the cartos. They eliminate dry hits by keeping the carto constantly wet and extend the life of the carto fon average rom 2 weeks to a month.

IMO the flavor from a pyrex carto tank is superior to a clearo, at least with my juices and look much better on my higher end mod.

Hi! This is what about a month of cinnamon-based e-liquid did to a Vivi Mini Nova. Unless the tank, drip tip, clearo, etc. product details specifically state it is made of polypropylene, glass or metal, there can potentially be a problem. A description along the lines of "These are improved over earlier models in that they do not crack and do not leak." doesn't address the compatibility with juices. I'm a bit of a zealot about this, since I wrecked quite a bit of gear before I learned what the problem was.

So is the clouding just an aesthetic issue or will it actually cause a problem with the clearomizer?
The cracking/melting/leaching of the plastic into the e-liqued is due to a chemical reaction of the specific plastic (polycarbonate) and certain flavors which can react to that plastic. It is more than just an aesthetic issue. Particularly if the plastic begins leaching chemicals into the e-juice.

If any of the three signs appear, discard of the juice carrying device and the e-liquid which was in it. Only use such e-liquid in pyrex, polypropylene plastic (the frosted made from the same material that medical syringes are made from), or stainless steel. Ocelot in post #11 has a link to reported juices/flavors known to attack polycarbonate.

The CE3's/Phoenix Clearos can handle cinnamon, and they're fairly inexpensive @ $10 for 5.

Where pray tell are you finding them for that cheap?

In other news... I too have had issues with cinnamon stuff in my vivi's and kanger t3's. I have a couple of old stardusts around that I have been using for volatile stuff until my metal vivi tanks come in.

@Markd...can you vape that stuff straight??:?: i have some fire and ice and i cant.

I had to put four or five drops in my Kanger T2 and fill the rest with regular mint, then it was vapeable. It is actually quite nice.

JuicyVapor is good juice and they have great flavors, just a little steep price wise at $1 a ml.

Fire and Ice is too strong for me.

The plastic these tubes are made of appear to be frosted plastic, so more than likely are made from polypropylene, which should be safe with the offensive flavors.
