I just purchased some of the 2.4-2.6 fluxomizers. I love them, except I should have ordered the xl ones. The wicks soak up so much juice, that I feel I am constantly refilling. Thats not my problem though.

I accidently pulled the tube off when it was attached to my battery. What really sucked is that it was full. Anyway, I know these are designed to come apart so you can clean them, but I am having a problem with putting it back together. I have been using a syringe to fill and have not been taking out the rubber insert on the top, just using it as is. It works great. On the one that I took apart, no matter what I do, if I use the rubber nipple on top, I get dry, burnt vapes immediately. Is there a trick to putting it back together? I have seen a bunch of videos on "modding" them, and they all say to just pull the nipple up a bit, but the drip tip pushes it right back down and pinches off the wick.

If someone can help, please let me know. If you know of a GOOD video that can explain it better, please post a link.

Also, not sure where, but somewhere I saw that you can purchase replacement tubes for these. If I can find them again, could I replace these tubes with the xl tubes or do I have to purchase all new xl fluxo's? I know that it means the wick would be shorter, but I could live with that easier than having to refill so often

If the tube came off accidentally, and the silicone cup seal was still in place, you may have inadvertently raised the ceramic cup slightly. It is held in place on the metal tube with the black shrink tubing below the cup. in any event, if you're getting some burning, it's because the coil is too close to the underside of the cup seal. Remove the silicone cup seal, and look to see if there are signs of burning on the underside. It will be on the rim that fits down inside the ceramic cup. You can trim off the burnt part with a hobby knife or nail clippers, and reinstall. When you insert your drip tip, only push it down far enough for the flat end of the tip to just touch the top of the cup seal.
