Need help with my sentinel m16

Hi so ive been a vapor since about september of 2013 and im loving it. My main vape is an itaste mvp v2 with an aspire nautilus 1.6 ohm coil. Yesterday i just got my sentinel m16 mod by hcigar with nimbus atomizer (clone). I have a 18650 sony 30 amp battery and it worked great yesterday. But today it wasnt firing so i changed out the coil and built a new one. Still no use. I put the nimbus on my mvp to check the ohms and its at .7 so i know its not the atomizer thats having an issue. I think it might be the battery because ill charge it till full and itll fire for like half a second because the wire smokes but then it stops. The wire doesnt even glow or turn red at all. I just got this mod so i doubt it has to do with the mod itself. If it sounds like a battery problem please tell me because i dont want to spend more money on getting another mod. If pictures help please say so because ill post them. Thanks a lot

I also put my aspire nautilus on the m16 and it wont fire so it has to either be the mod or the battery
