I was going to ask if the 2 threading airholes were there bc I actually got one like that as well last weekend. I have a few Smoktech 3.5ml tanks and buy the pre-punched Ressurectors for them bc I like the flanged bottom, and then just punch the hole bigger so it feeds the juices I use. Last weekend I was getting ready to leave for work and decided to put a new Ressurector in the tank I use Bobas Bounty in. I was rushing but checked the resistance quick to make sure it wasn't DOA, then quickly punched the hole to where it needs to be to feed the thick 100%VG Bobas juice. Using a syringe I quickly filled the carto up, put it in the tank and filled the tank fully. I remember thinking to myself that this carto was a real good one bc the resistance was dead on at 1.7ohm, the airtube was perfectly in the middle and wasn't crooked, and I could see perfectly right thru it. After I filled the tank and put the drip tip back on, I gave a pull on it quick before screwing it onto my Epower to make sure the airtube was clear and it was ready to go, and it pulled perfectly. I was ready for a great first few vapes since I had a freshly filled tank and a brand new Ressurector that was just filled for the first time, and "seemed" perfect since the resistance, airtube, and draw were all exactly how they should be.
So like I said, since I was rushing bc I had to leave for work, I screwed the tank onto my Epower, but didnt try hitting it bc I had to leave. So I just put it in my pocket and ran out the door. About halfway to work, I pulled out my Epower, and unlocked it so I could take a hit of the tank I just filled with the brand new Ressurector, expecting a tasty and delicious first vape.
I held the button for a second, listening to it crackle like crazy for the first time, went to take a hit on it AANNNNDD... Nothing. I immediately knew something wasn't right bc it wasn't like it was even hard to draw, there was no draw at all. It was like holding your finger over the hole on one end of a straw and trying to suck thru the other end. Literally nothing.
Confused bc I never had anything happen like that before, I unscrewed the tank completely off the battery, and to my surprise, it pulled perfectly with it off the battery and had great airflow. So I screwed it back on and tried again, only to have the same results. So then I had no idea what was going on with it, and I was still driving to work so I couldn't try to really focus on it to figure it out. I unscrewed it off the battery again and looked around the Epower threading and connection to make sure it was okay and it was. I then looked at the threading of the brand new Ressurector that I had just put into the tank before I left for work and it hit me. WHERE THE HECK ARE THE 2 AIRHOLES RIGHT ABOVE THE THREADING?!!?!
Smoktech has completely missed that carto and it didn't have a single airhole. So it pulled perfectly with it not on the battery, but as soon as I put my finger over the bottom hole that touches the PV connector pin, it completely stopped all airflow. So now I was completely screwed bc when I screwed it onto my manual Battery, the bottom hole would get blocked again, which meant I couldn't even take the slightest drag on it.
Even worse, I then had to be at work for 8 hrs with a full tank and new carto that I couldn't even use, and I didn't have another carto with me that I could have put into the tank instead.

So I know exactly how you feel. That's def quality control at its finest.
Make sure you check to make sure there arnt any more like that, and if there are I would tell the vendor bc that's BS.
I checked all three 5-packs that I had just got of the pre-punched Ressurectors, and all the rest had the airholes like the should have. So I just got very unlucky and happened to pick the one carto that didn't have them to put in my tank before I went to work.
Honestly, knowing where all these cartos come from, I can't say I'm really surprised it wasn't noticed during production
