need help with new genitank 2.5ml

hey guys I'm new to ecf but have learned lots from reading posts from others, both my wife and i have been using aspire k1 tanks with 1.8 ohm coils but recently i made the bump up to a kanger tank the geni 2.5ml but have not been able to use the tank due to the burning in my throat, at any given time i can go back to the k1 with no issues at all, i use the kangertech ipow2 unit, i have varied my wattage, played with air flow, replaces coils, and still cannot be satisfied with the vape, just hoping someone else has some input from past experience, thanks for any replies !!

What ohm coils do you have in the gen tank? It takes the same coils as the PT 1 and 2 I think. If so, my experience with the stock coils of that type, 2.2 ohm coils work best.

Looks like I was wrong, uses the dual coil heads. Maybe someone else can help, I rarely use the dual coil heads.

Yes they are BDC coils I believe and I have the 1.8 ohm coils that read about 2 ohms on my unit. Replaced 3 thinking it is bad coils but still have no change in vape quality. I feel like I should not have bought this is kanger product expecting It to vape close to as smooth as my k1 yet other people do not have this harsh vape with the geni

Well i had very little feedback on this thread for some reason, after spending more money I have fixed my issue by switching to 1.5 ohm coils and since have been lovin vaping from my genitank

In comparison to the aspire k1 my vape hits are about the same flavour/taste wise but the genitank creates more vapour every time, I believe this is due to the adjustable airflow control
