Need Help with Tanks Not Making Contact

I love the tank mods, the E2 clear mods and the Clearomizers. Just got in a nice size order from COV including the MAP, Stormy, and two boxes of Cleaomizers. Bruce has always been my go to for E2s and E2 mods.

Here's the problem.... The MAP tank and the Stormy tank will not make contact so that they can fire on any of my PVs that I want to use them on; MAP on the 'Don and Stormy on my Roughstack and Nomad (screwdriver). The only PV I can use them on is an eGo battery. The tanks are working as they fire on the eGo battery and I'm using the Stormy Tank on eGo right now. (My MAP tank broke and Bruce is sending me another but I can still test the firing with a very quick dry burn.)

HELP!!!!!

I'm figuring that if there was such a thing as a stealth 510-510 the issue could be fixed. Anyone else have this issue? How did you solve it?

Amy, I will send you a 510 to 510 adapter with your replacement tank! Works for the RoughStack and GLV top button mods.
If an e2 does not fire, use a little screwdriver to ease out the middle contact slightly. Should be good to go.

Thanks Bruce. You are the best!!! I think you've already sent the tank. It was process ed through the sort facility on the 13th. How about if I make an order and you throw 3 of the 510-510 in. I need three so I can have three mods going at the same time. Tell me how much extra to add, or Paypal bill me or whatever.

So the 510-510 does exist? WOW!!!

I've been gently rocking the center pin back and forth to get it to lower some but I don't want to ruin it. Thanks, for the suggestion. I'll work on it a little more.

You can try screwing it on a battery just a few threads. This will keep you from pushing it too far through.

Thanks Storm. Seems like I saw a YouTube on changing out E2 part. I'll go look it up to see proper way to push the innards down a bit. I've gotten the center pin on Storm tank pulled out enough that it is now making contact in the Roughstack well but still a no-go on the Don mod. For now I'm pacifying myself using the Storm tank on the Roughstack; just enough room to get to the top fire button. Great thinking there. Can't use the MAP tank on Roughstack because of the top button. But I can't use the MAP tank until the new tank gets here anyway.

I really love the Storm tank. I use very high VG, sweet juices, and I'm having no wicking issues like one can have with the smaller diameter E2 tanks.

I don't like it; I love it. I'm using it on the short Roughstack w 18350 3.7v battery. 2.4 ohm, is great at 3.7 v.; plumes of vapor and just right to retain much of the juice flavor.

I have a cart loaded at COV but the mini Storm tanks are showing as not available.

I'm having trouble finding any Youtube videos about the Stormy Tank.

Yes, it is replaceable. Bruce has replacements just not sure if they're listed on the website yet.
