Yeah kanthal..sorry but i dont understand that steam engine calculator..tried it before and still couldnt get the ohm i want..
i assumed u r using a 2.5mm screwdriver. its just like baba nana said, abt 3wraps to achieved 0.2ohmView attachment 505906

The lead to post also have an effect on it.. so for me, I use it as a benchmark then modify it from there. Contact or spaced also have an effect.my so I'm not sure if steam engine is using contact or spaced as a norm.. All the best.
Just make 2 coils, 5-7 wraps each. 3 wraps got too little surface area. Will burn your cotton faster also.
Simple agak-ration... Note this agak=ration should not be done on a mech mod... Use an ohm reader...
The more the wraps the higher the resistance.... Play ard with it and sooner or later you'll roughly be able to guage the resistance off the bat...
I think I read this somewhere, imagine the wire I'd like a water pipe, the smaller the size, the more restricted it is for the current to go thru, the more wraps you have, the more loops the current would have to travel... Means higher resistance.
Something like if you were to put a straight piece of 22ga it would probably read 0.01 or even less, but if you were to do a six wrap of the same wire it would prob read sth like 0.4...
Don't quote me on the readings, I'm just giving an example....

It's for my dripper..no worries.. i dont expose my clouds in public..
Just don't go expose your dripper in public. That'll be public indecency. At worse, leaking one. At worst, "hi, would you like to Vape my leaking dripper? It's a little sticky, but it's thick thick clouds!"
