I ordered a couple of these along with some other supplies to give a try:

18650 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery for K100/K200/KTS E-cigarette - 2000mAh - Batteries - eGo Accessories

I am just wondering if anyone has tried this, and looking for some feedback... also there is no info on how many AMPS it is, I am going to get my first Mechanical mod soon (however long it takes for the post to arrive), so I don't plan on jumping in to sub ohm builds right away, more around 1.5 - 2.0 ohms.... Meanwhile I am also planning to order some better quality batteries, is there anything reccomended that can be use for 1.5 - 2.0 ohms range that also can handle sub ohm?

Dont put that battery in your mechanical mod. You do not have any "fail safes" beyond your own knowledge. batteries are not costly. Get a proper chemistry battery from a reputable manufacturer (and a reputable site like RTD) If you need time to buy the batteries, then wait to use the mech until you get them. Just realize, the battery and charger are way more important than the mechanical metal tube, its just a tube. All of your safety and performance in a mech is dependent on your battery (therefore charger as well). Crappy battery = crappy performance.

Here is an awesome blog that has everything battery: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-9-battery-basics-mods-imr-protected-icr.html

Ok, thanks for the link, guess I will just scrap the batteries and cheap charger I got there. Any recommendations on a good charger that is dual voltage (110 - 220 volts), I travel a lot so want to be able to at least plug it in in the U.S. as well as here in Europe.

***edit found one that is USB and dual voltage by Xtar.
