I got my 510 today, smoked 2 carts of the toothpaste tasting carts, I think I dig this thing. I didn't smoke half as many cigarettes today cause puffing on this thing, I just didn't want any. It's weird, the only reason I smoked was cause I was sick of the taste of the carts. This thing might just work, I never got that from patches, or gum.
So I'm looking for the best juice out there for a marlboro menthol light taste and feel. No candy or toothpaste taste.
How is the Johnson Creek?
And what strength do you think would be best for a guy who smoked almost 2 packs a day for 15-16 years?
And another stupid question, where do these suppliers get this stuff? Not exact locations, but what do they do order bulk from factories and split it up and slap a label on it?

Just from what I've tried, Kent from ruyan direct is a good tobacco taste without sweetness. Mint from the same place would pass as a menthol - and isn't as sweet as say, Janty's menthol, imo. I smoked Salem for longer than you smoked marboro menthol. Get them in the 30ml size and get an empty bottle if you can there as well. I'd start out with a 4:1 Kent/Mint (or some other menthol juice) and go from there. As far as nic strength, again, in my case I smoked ultra lights - 2+pks/day and find that 11mg or 16mg satisfies the monkey on my back :)

As far as 'where do they get this stuff?' - base of PG or VG - 55gallon drums of it, divide it down to bottle sizes of 3, 10, 30, 60ml etc. and then add the extracts - not sure where the base extract comes from but was told by a local dealer that he gets his from the same place as Loranns does. I thought Loranns made theirs but evidently not. He thinks Bickford's makes their own.

Btw, anyone looking for a good 'expresso' extract in PG (except it has caramel coloring) for strengthening your pot of coffee in the morning, or making up some iced cap.... try here:
Coffee Espresso Extract - 115

Funny thing was I was looking for a cassis flavor for ejuice and ran across this guy on the web and ended up ordering the expresso. I didn't even look at where they were located and had them ship. Baker's Kitchen is about 10 miles away from where I live. lol.

How about this.. A bottle of marbro and a bottle of menthol flavor. Fill a small bottle with the marbro and add a drop of mint to it. Would that be a proper way to make your own?
Or maybe Virginia or whatever tastes like an analog.

You could do that. Depending on the size of the bottle, you might need more than a drop of menthol/mint. Also heard (but never tried) that the 'marlboro' flavor isn't close, but if I were a marlboro smoker, I'd still try it ;-)

Again, of the 'tobacco/cig' flavors I've tried, Kent, is the closest for my taste, to actual tobacco flavor without any of the sweetness. Hilton is close too. Many here have said similar things and I tried them and agree. I have a Janty 'newport' on order from freshsmoking and I'll let you know how that is, if I remember...

As a menthol smoker Newports were about 4th on the list for me. Salem first, then Camel menthols, Kools, then Newports but found Newport menthol a bit sweet. Kools a bit strong - menthol-wise. Camel and Salem were about the same but also from the same company.

Yeah please do, report back. I'd be interested, they have regular menthol and Newport, it must be different.

Posted this on another thread today but, I've been mixing 24 mg Marlboro and 24 mg menthol from My vapor store. Really good
vapor and throat hit for all day vaping. I am a 36mg person as well but for
all day, I like 24 mg.
Dave:cool:
I may try that real soon. I ordered some Menthol from e-smokeytreats that got some great reviews from a guy on youtube, and read other reviews that said it tasted like a real marlboro menthol. It shipped yesterday, in transit, should hit the state tonight, and delivered hopefully by saturday. Let ya know how good it is. If it's no quite, I may do the mix you suggested.

House of vapor has some damn good prices, anybody smoking their stuff for any length of time? Is it quality?

I smoked PML's for 5 years, I thought mixing tobacky and menth liquid would be the way to go, but just get a good strong menthol and you will be vape-tastic!

If you smoked Marlboro Menthol Full Flavor then maybe mixing would suit you, but for a former Lights smoker the coolness will be a bigger deal to you. Don't short on the nicotine level at first though.

I only smoked Marlboro Lights menthol analogs. When I switched to vaping, I only purchased menthol flavored e-liquids fom different companies trying to find the one that resembled closest to the analog.

There isin't one that quite came real close, but I "settled" with True Vapor "Mar-Bro". It doesn't state that it's menthol, but it does have a slight menthol to it, nothing too strong where it just taste like mint. I thought that was a good combination.
As far as the strenght I think that depends on how strong of a throat hit you want. The 36MG was too strong for me, and the 6MG felt like ultra lights strength, so i guess somewhere in between:confused:

I had to laugh at the name of your marlboro flavor..Marble Row. Thats good.

LOL most people get confused with the Marble.. they do make soft 84mm's but when I tested it, it really wasn't a good fit. The mouthpiece gets too hot basically.

Simon,

I received a package from freshsmoking today that had the 'Janty Newport' and I have to tell you that while Newport analogs weren't my favorite - preferred Salems - this flavor will be put into 'regular rotation'. The menthol isn't sweet as I remember the analog being and it isn't as strong as Janty's plain 'Menthol' flavor. The 'Newport' also has a tobacco note whereas the Menthol doesn't, imo.

Now how that compares to Marlboro menthol, I don't know but I think it might be worth a shot for you... although I'd go with the other poster's suggestion, who was an actual marlboro menthol smoker. I'm liking Newport though.

Thank you for the review!
I may try some of that, as I'm on the hunt for the perfect menthol. I just got some menthol today, and still gets that mouthwash mint taste. I'm going to give it a day though, could be the old flavor stuck in the atom. But so far it's not my thing.
Got 3 non mint flavors on the way, I'll find something I dig eventually.

Update: I burned (used) 4 batteries on the Newport stuff and ordered another 7 bottles from Freshsmoking :) I'm that sure on this one. I wish Janty would have bigger bottles and cut the price a bit. If not, I'll find an alternative even if it isn't quite as good, but this stuff smokes! :)
