Ok so I got my JC order...

I ordered the Welcome to E-Smoking kit from Johnson Creek and included was the sampler pack.

I have tried the Tennessee Cured, Artic Menthol, Mint Chocolate, Chocolate Truffle and Black Cherry.

I have to admin I kind of like the Ten. Cured but I think it has a bit more flavor than I want. I don't like the others. Black Cherry is OK but I wont order it again any time soon. Artic Menthol tastes like Toothpaste to me which isn't bad but If I want a toothpaste taste then I will brush my teeth again...LOL

Anyway. This isn't a review, its just a noob's account of his first juice order from JC... So far I'm not impressed. Good shipping but so far that's it.

I also ordered a PCC and a 10ml/24mg bottle of Dunhill from RMV.

First, I love my PCC. I am sooo glad I got one. Thank you to everyone who suggested I get one.
As for the Dunhill. I LOVE it.. I was really happy I got this juice. RMV can thank GrimmGreen for this too because I took his review of it as my basis for trying it. I will be buying more Dunhill from RMV now.

For a cart mod, I'd have to recommend using Blue Foam. I was so sick of carts that I went to dripping only a month in... Now, I'm back to using carts + blue foam! It's easy to find at the pet store and does a great job (no melting, empties entirely, wicks smoothly!)

I got my JC sampler early and was also not impressed. Most of the flavors are stupid. Or at least I didn't like them. They almost turned me off to vaping.

For one thing, there are almost no tobacco flavors.

I don't have any "best" alternative, but others should.

I eventually got 10 ml samples from heaven-gifts for about $3-$4 each. Ended up with RY4 and Kent as my favorites. With menthol drops added to each.

One hint. If you like menthol, get some menthol drops so you can turn anything into menthol. Don't bother with the pure "menthol" flavors. Arctic menthol tasted more like chalk to me. Menthol drops are very close to a cigarette taste when added to any tobacco flavor. (Juicy liquid has them.)

I use to like their "old formula" Tennesse Cured and the Original Tobacco flavor. Since the formula change they both seem to taste the same to me. I would also like to see them thicken their recipe a tad. Compared to other juices, theirs is a little watery in consistency.

My biggest gripe is their shipping cost. Being a Wisconsin resident, there is no advantage to using Priority Mail over the First Class rate as both mailings would offer the same arrival time. Combine the extra Priority Mail cost with the state sales tax and Wisconsin residents are paying a premium for JC juice.

JC doesn't allow pick up orders as they don't have a retail store front. All transactions on done on their website and are shipped.
