Hello, so i'm confused what rda (for heavy clouds/tricks) to get from this list, my main mod is vaporesso Luxe 220W (so no squonking, only dripping), and also i'm going with a dual coil setup;
- Vandy Vape Widowmaker RDA Atomizer - 24mm & 1ml
- Vandy Vape Pulse X BF RDA Tank Atomizer
- Vandy Vape Pulse V2 BF RDA Tank Atomizer - 2ml
- Digiflavor Drop RDA
- Vandy Vape Phobia V2 RDA Tank Atomizer
- OUMIER VLS RDA Tank Atomizer
- Wotofo Faris RDTA & RDA Tank Atomizer - 3ml
Thanks for the help,
EDIT: added another RDA, also sorry for being annoying,

Looks like a lot of these aren’t actually RDAs, but are Small capacity RDTAs. This isn’t necessarily bad. They’re more trouble to wick but hold more juice. Also additional squonk features aren’t going to do you a lot of good so attys like the pulse x with its top feed juice fountain feature aren’t going to help you much

It is difficult to determine which RDA is best for cloud production for all will be dependent on the type of coils you use. As mentioned in a previous post, if cloud production is your ultimate objective, then mesh is your best candidate and the Wotofo Profile would fit this bill perfectly. Although this is a subjective observation, my Profile RDA gives more vapor production out of any of the other single or dual coil RDA’s that I own. But I use it because it also excels in flavour!

However, if you are dead set on picking a coil based RDA, within your list I would choose the Digiflavor Drop to which I also own. Also own the Pulse X which is limited in the size of the build you can use which will limit vapor production. The Pulse X also gets very hot very quickly. Can’t comment on the others.

For cloud chasing I'd search for something with a wide open airflow, which none of these have.
Any suggestions?

I'm looking into The Profile too, but i'm afraid of dry hits, which i see as a common problem for mesh based RDAs, that's why i'm leaning for a RDA,

Not really I’m afraid. My suspicion is they will all behave fairly similarly for cloud production. Clouds are about how much heat and air you can get moving through an atty. everything else is the coil and juice. As long as you’ve got a lot of airflow and a big chamber so you can fit big coils there isn’t going to be a ton of difference from the actual atty.

My understanding is one of the mesh RDAs (which might be the profile, I don’t know) has a spring loaded piston that helps hold the cotton directly onto the mesh which helps with the dry hit thing.

Dry hits are a problem with any atomizer, with mesh they are just less forgiving. To mitigate dry hits, you require proper wicking and saturation. Every coil will have its own learning curve on achieving that proper wicking and saturation is just common sense. The Profile is no more difficult to wick than any other coil once you understand what is needed.

Stick with the Wotofo cotton wicks that are made specifically for the Profile and removes all guess work from wicking. They are not that expensive. But if cost is of a concern, both Rayon and Japanese organic cotton pads are extremely inexpensive. Rayon rope is the perfect density – cut a needed length, twist one end to make it easier to insert under the mesh, trim and saturate. And you can use a full Japanese pad to wick the Profile. Remove the harder outer shell, roll and stuff under the mesh. Both are extremely simple and given there is so much needed wick, they last that much longer than your typical coil. I have been using the same Japanese organic cotton pad in one of my Profiles for over a month with no signs of collapsing or burns. Same juice in a typical coil setup, this would last a week at most.

Correct, it is the Profile RDA that has the spring loaded tension plate that pushes the cotton against the mesh.

If you want to pump some watts for massive clouds, the Cthulhu Azathoth might be worth a look.
You can install huge coils and the airflow fully open is just insane, in fact it's perhaps the airiest 24mm RDA I ever tried, although it provides good flavor as well, if you cut down the airflow to moderate levels.
It is a bottom and side airflow atty, but it has a very large juicewell, so overdripping shouldn't be a problem
It's available at FT for about 10$.

Out of the ones on your list I would say the Drop. If you really want a cloud chasing RDA there are better RDAs.
TM24 PRO, Apocalypse, Goon 1.5 and Battlestar are really good in that order. Don't get anything from Vandy Vape especially if you buy from Fasttech. If this is your first RDA I recommend the Drop. It's easy to build and it's very forgiving for coil positioning.

IMHO, i strongly recommend the HellVape Dead Rabbit RDA. Nowadays you can find pretty good deals for it, and it's a very nice RDA (i own a few and love them all, both for squonking or simply dripping). The deck is awesome to build in, capable of dual or single coil builds. Great Flavour, good airflow and you can get massive clouds with it (it always depend on the coil used):

I tended to like the Drop as well, but it drools worst than Timmy watching porn, eheheh;)! And that vent system, not my cup of tea...

The Pulse is also a very nice one, i prefer v1 (just a personal preference). Love that airflow system & design, and you can get good juicy flavour with it. But it's mainly designed for squonking, so, if you really want to only drip on it, maybe there's other better options out there for you:

For dual coil builds, i'm also enjoying a lot the Vandy Vape Bonza v.15 from Vaping Bogan. Massive airflow, wicked juicy flavour and the deck it's pretty cool to build on:

Another good one (not going to the so called high end RDA's in this reply) is the DRUGA RDA. Also awesome flavour and awesome airflow system. Quite a ..... to build some time, not always, depends a lot on the coils you are trying to put on it, but still one of my favourites (i love a lot of them, lool):

There's some much choices out there, that choosing a RDA is becoming a personal thing, for your personal taste, the brands you like / support, and a bunch of other factors. If you can, try to experiment a couple of then before buying them. Or if you want to start a collection, well, just buy one and try it out, and then when you can, buy another one with different design, and so on.

Props to all! Keep it cloudy fam!

For big clouds you want to use big coils and an RDA with lots of airflow. Check out the Rebirth RDA. It might be a little tricky mounting the coils but the thing chucks. It uses two posts so you coils use one very big coil or go dual on the the same posts. There are other RDAs that are easier to mount coils. But pay attention to airflow when looking at RDAs and get some Alien coils or fused claptons of some kind.
