Need recommendations from our Veterans, please.

I am still new to vaping (this Friday will be 4 weeks). I still have not found that perfect juice flavor(s) for me. I've been reading reviews all day, and I know that taste is subjective...but I could really use some help with your suggestions (from ppl I feel I have gotten to know that tell it like it is).

If this isn't allowed here please accept my apology & pm'g me would be fine.

I have tried maybe 3 different vendors already and I am noticing most that I have now have a weird chemical/perfumy taste, in my opinion at least, others probably love the flavors that I have.

Two of the flavors that I vape most seem dry. I'll use them but I'm still searching for some go to's to finally end cravings to light up.

Can you help me out ladies??

I am mostly a DIY'er now, but I will say if I get a Chemical taste it means I used to much flavoring. I wonder if your taste buds are starting to come back now and you don't need as much flavoring in them.

What flavors do you like also, are you more of a fruit person or do you still want that tobacco taste.

I'd also recommend getting sampler packs from vendors, a lot of them have them and you can play around.

I can't really tell yet, or that much I should say, that my taste buds are changing. I thought they would have by now. Seems they are being slow to wake-up.

I would say it's a safe assumption that I am open to any category of flavors right now since I haven't found a favorite of anything that I can't put down.

I will wait until classwife answers before I answer your question about what vendors I have ordered from so far.

Thank goodness I didn't order 30ml bottles of all of the ones I currently have, glad I knew better. But yet I have 4 or 5 - 6ml bottles that I won't use. The 3 - 30ml bottles that I have are ones I will/can use...for now.

I have a couple sample DIY flavorings sent as a gift...but I don't see myself doing any DIY anytime soon.

The 4 or 5 - 6ml bottles of juices I have just aren't for me, others would probably like them. So I don't want to dis any vendor. I may offer them up on the PIF for trade or something for other newbies like me wanting to try flavors.

You may want to try venders with natural flavorings, who don't use flavor enhancers. Copper Creek is one I like. I think Virgin Vapor is doing liquid that way too. Any of them should answer if asked. I recommend trying some small sample batches from a few of them. It's really nice you realize your buds might be the issue and not just ranting on the juice. And PIF is good karma! Good luck!

I think I realized going into vaping that my buds would be way off and be ever changing for a while. What I like today may not agree with me in another week, or two...and so on.

I could be wrong, and ladies...correct me if I am wrong in thinking that.

It helps to know what strenth you vape and if you prefer Fruit, menthol, tobacco or other. I only vape from one vendor now..but I will share in a P.N. I can't tell you how nice it is to have found your bliss! I hope you find yours!

MK...right now I am vaping 18mg. No menthol. Others I am very open to trying. I like any fruit except raspberries, bakery...yes, coffee's...yes. Bar beverages like Whiskey Beer etc...no. Beverages like Cola...eh...not so far. (I drink Mt. Dew in real soda's but haven't tried any Dew e-juices.) Candy's...yes, but not sickening sweet and so far not heavy nut flavors. Wish I knew how to better answer you.

There have been forum problems of people PMing others asking for Liquids and supplies....(I am broke, I haven't received my check yet...good stories)....PLEASE ...refer them to PIF...there is a special method set up for Emergency Needs.

Quite a number of suppliers offer Dekang juices under their own label which seem to have that perfuminess about them. The best suppliers will let you know which are the Chinese Dekang eliquids.

From what I've read and understood, it is ok to name vendors that you DO like so I will tell you my experience with Vendors that I like. Vape-a-licious is a forum supplier and I've tried several of her juices and most I really liked especially the fruity ones. They have lots of flavor which I can't say about some other vendors. I've been read rave reviews about one of her flavors called Heaven something that I am going to try. Another vendor I like is Bombay vendor. They have a huge assortment of flavors and they are catagorized. You can buy 3ml sample sizes and select extra flavor if you want and select the PG/VG mix and of course the mg strength. Their wintergreen is one of my all time favorites. I've never gotten a perfumy juice from these 2 vendors. I have a few other favorite vendors but they are on my PC and I am in bed with my laptop so I'll get back to you tomorrow with a few more. I see a lot of people like Back woods brew. They also have a large selection of flavors. I haven't ordered from them yet so I have no opinionl.

Did you even get those paper sticks filled with colored sugar. You might have seen them at Halloween in your treats. You'd bite off an end of the paper stick and pour the sugar in your mouth. The paper stick had a stripped pattern to it, like blue and white, or red and white. Ring a bell yet? If you've never had it you need to find some and try it out, be prepared for a big old sugar rush and crash, it's all sugar, sugar, sugar.

tm - I've never been a big fan of Wintergreen, but I might try some. I have thought about trying BWB juices, but they seem to be out of stock of a lot their most liked flavors when I looked. They must be REALLY good flavors!! I bookmarked them to keep checking back. There's a couple others at BWB that based on the descriptions I might try while waiting for a re-stock.

I'm jotting down a Wish List/Try list. I can already tell that my vaping budget is most likely going out the window this month!! LOL.

I want a really good vanilla juice... a true rich vanilla taste, not a imitation!! That search continues!! (I never buy imitation vanilla flavoring for cooking, only pure. Mexican Vanilla when I can get it. That's the rich smooth vanilla taste I am looking for. LOL).

Someone else mentioned it and I will, too. Annette at Virgin Vapor does not use any artificial anything in her juices. I never thought I'd like 100% VG juice, but I love hers. The Kona Coffee Milkshake is wonderful, as is the Butter Rum, Key Lime Pie, Pina Colada, Banana Coconut Colada, and Strawberry Lime Cooler. Very fresh and plentiful flavor, plenty of throat hit and lots o'vapor. I was very pleasantly surprised. You can order a 3-pk sampler to give her a try.
