I've done a bunch of reading here and I'm still confused, so I must ask for help.

Been vaping for about 3 weeks, using the CigEasy Elite. I liked it fine until both batteries bit the dust yesterday and today. I didn't overcharge them, I dried the piece you screw on, but still they're dead. So I need a replacement and needless to say I'm not buying that one again.

I liked the manual button and the throat hit I got from it. Now that I have a bit of experience under my belt, I don't care if it looks like an analog, I just want it to work, and if my thingies from the Elite would fit that would be great but what's more important is that I get good TH. I'm considering the Riva 510 after reading posts from (I think it was) Dormouse. A light little kinda-smokey thing isn't going to cut it.

Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

More: More research just turned up good stuff on the kgo, too; so maybe it's between the ego, kgo and Riva 510. I like what I've read so far about the kgo, tho.

I just wrote a very polite email to the company informing them of the problem. Their website promises only a 7-day non-DOA guarantee, so CigEasy is under no contractual obligation to replace my dead batteries, but I thought they should know of the problem. In the meantime, I'm going to have to order something tomorrow morning -- need to vape! -- and I'll probably go with the kgo unless I hear responses to the contrary before then. Thanks, all, and I'll report if CigEasy decides to replace the batteries. CigEasy's user manual for the Elite was incorrect in many ways, which I informed them about in detail, but since they didn't seem inclined to correct the manual, I am doubtful that they will replace the batteries. Too bad, I really liked the Elite. Analogs for me for a little while...

Well, I just ordered a kgo from hoosierecigsupply.com; I've read so much good stuff about that company here on the forums. I just can't be without a vape any longer than absolutely necessary and needed to get an order in so that it would ship on Wednesday and I'll get it asap. I'm back on analogs until the replacement arrives. I ordered some extra stuff to qualify for the free shipping and the 5% off, hope it all works together, but what the hey, in the end it's the same as paying for shipping so I'm no worse off. The surprises of life are interesting, neh? tho not to the point where I wish upon myself or anyone the "ancient Chinese curse" of "May you live in interesting times." I lived thru the 70s, I'm good, thanks...

ADDENDUM from the "How stupid am I?" file:

I had conveniently forgotten about one of the actions of the Elite -- if you press the manual button three times, it turns the unit off so that it doesn't accidentally come on in your pocket or purse or something. The tech guy called, he was terrific, we went thru the charging test and I told him what lights were lit, and he told me to press the manual button three times to see if it worked, and -- well, I hate to have to say "Duh me", but ... "Duh me." I feel like such an idiot. So, don't be put off by what I said before. Oh, and FYI, the tech said that they have to put some sort of limit on the warranty so that people don't try to return it after three months or something, but he emphasized that they will always always try to resolve any problem. Go CigEasy!
=======================
Update: I got an email from CigEasy today telling me that if the lights at least work when it's plugged in, then the batteries aren't dead, and they asked if I would like a tech person to call me and walk me thru a fix. Yay! I'll be sure to post my results.
