I've been vaping for a couple of months now, and I do truly enjoy it. The only problem I run into is trying to find the best piece to vape with. I've tried a few cheap clearos, a few cheap cartos, and one type of atomizer for dripping. I want something dependable, reasonably priced, and something basic. I've used the Kanger T3's and the CE4 (I think they are called) clearomizers. The cartos I used burned up because I don't think I let the juice soak into the filler, and burned them up with one drag. I did like the atomizer that I used, the dripping part was hard on the go.

Overall, I think I am a clearo on the go, dripping at home kind of guy. I would like to give cartomizers a shot too if I could get some pointers on using the cartos/tanks.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. I do use Mt Baker Vapor for most of my orders so if any of you have personally used things from them that would be awesome. Thanks again!

Edit: The PV I use is a 1300 mah knock off ego battery.

As Eric said, the EVOD work well and look great. Only thing is pay attention to the list of tank cracker juices that MBV publish as they are plastic.

The EVOD is a great little clearo, easy to fill, look good, produce good vapor and give decent flavor. Add in they are inexpensive (around $4-5) and replacement heads are now around $6 for 5 of them, you really can't go wrong with one.

I'm a cartotank person. In my experience, they provide the fullest flavor, are dependable and consistant, great for out & about and at home. They have a little bit of a learning curve, but a little bit of knowledge in proper setup and some experience to work out the intricities and they become a great juice delivery device.

This is the method that I use to set up my cartotank. Proper priming of the carto is the most important step. How well you prime the carto determines how well it will perform for its entire life in the tank. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3710-5-cartomizer-tank-setup.html

Having said that, the latest generation of clearomizer tanks have come a long way in the last year. I've had good success with the Kanger Protank and Evods and the Innokin iClear 16 and 30 clearomizers. Still not as flavorful or as consistant as a well set up cartotank, but close.

Well you take a left on Elm then a right...
But seriously, if you like dripping atomizers but don't like dripping all the time I would recommend a bottom feeder. There is a lot out there and many are quite pricey, with the Reo being at the higher end ($144). There is the Vapage VMOD for just under $90.
HOWEVER, Vision is coming out with a Mod you put on your Mod (modception?) To turn it into a bottom feeder. Its called the Vision Infinity (Aurora RTB?). I believe it is around 20 euros and hasn't been released in North America...yet!
Hope this helps.

Congrats on giving up cigarettes. I hope you find what works best for you!

I will put a strong second to the bottom feeder. I tried all the tubes and they work great, but a bottom feeder allows me to carry and drip 6 ml of juice on the go without worrying about dripping or leaking, or keeping my PV upright. I can just throw it in my purse and not worry. Backup is a spare battery and atty now. No more juice bottles. They may seem unusual at first, but once you have it set up it really is easier than refilling something smaller all the time and the flavor just cannot be beat since its fresh juice on a coil.

While I agree 100% on the EVODs, I use them and love them a LOT, I do sometimes dislike having to worry about which juices I can't put in them due to the acidity of certain juices. I am strongly considering getting an ARO Pyrex. The ARO is basically a pyrex version of an EVOD so no worrying about tank cracker juices. Assuming it performs just as well as the EVOD, it will become my #1 device.

EDIT: here is a link to the ARO: http://www.madvapes.com/aro-pyrex-bottom-coil-tank.html

I've been vaping for around 4-5 months, i'm a very anxious person so i tried a wide variety of delivery methods for the short time i've been vaping :p.

For clearomizers i use exclusively innokin iclear16s, they are reliable, cheap and durable. They are also the thing i recommend for any friend that asks me where to start, ego twist and a couple of i16s. Probably the dual coil setup helps with the flavor and vapor production.
Also they last a lot :)
I buy them from FT $3.00 Innokin iClear 16 Dual Coil Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Atomizer (1.6ml) - translucent / 2.4 and buy at least 3 every time so they cost 2.75 even if they lasted a week i'd still buy them :p

I can't speak much about dripping atties, i will probably buy a HH357 long barrel from avidvaper.com in the near future because i keep buying different flavors to try every month :)
For a rebuildable dripping atomizer i recommend the IGO-L, i use 2 at home on my SVD with a 18350 and i love them :)

And last, for cartomizers i recommend the pyrex cartotanks from FT they are cheaper than any other tank i've seen and they are pyrex, unless you don't like the design they are amazing. I use boge XL 1 hole 2ohm cartomizers i bought from hoosier vapes.
Link to the tanks $5.70 Pyrex DCT Tank Atomizer (3.0mL) - black / 1.5 ± 0.2
Some people said the carto slides on theirs but i have 3 of these and never had a problem with cartos sliding :)

If you need a good tutorial on how to prime your carto i used the pbusardo's vid on youtube, where he explains how to fill cartos with the "condom method" you fill one of the little condoms with juice and slide the carto into the condom, then look from the upper part of the carto to pump the juice upwards with the condom. I usually use almost 2 filled condoms to get the carto fully primed.

edit: i also bought juice from Mtbaker, i love cinnamon roll and moo juice 50/50 :)

I just ordered a couple of these for this reason. While they don't take the protank coil heads interchangeable, the ARO heads are cheap and rebuildable (basically just like the Protank heads, with a smaller collar). I already have a Protank Mini (1.5ml pyrex protank), but when I saw the Smoktech ARO in pyrex, I couldn't pass it up. DiscountVapers has them for $7.99. The Protank Mini is $12.50-$14 everywhere I've looked. I seemed like a no-brainer to me.

+1 on bottom feeder mods. I don't have a Reo, but I do have a Vapage VMod. I have the larger of the two sizes which uses an 18650 battery (which lasts me nearly 2 days) and has a 9 ml tank inside the mod. I found the methodology of feeding the atomizer by squonking to have a learning curve, but once I got that figured out I've been using my VMod for out-&-about use as much as my Mini Provari and an IBTanked cartotank.

The full unadulterated flavor of dripping juice on an atomizer with the convenience of using a tank.

I have both a Protank and a Davide glassomizer and love them both. Swap out the wicks with cotton and the flavor is just amazing.

Sucker punch from mtbakervapor in the davide right now, and Bobas from AVE in the protank and the flavor difference with cotton wicks is phenomenal! I plan on getting a box-mod between now and my Bday in September for at home, and ill use my vamo in short mode while im out and about.
