Short version

  • Will the vivi nova tank fit an ego battery? assuming the below product is an ego batt
  • Looking for a good supplier of e-liquid with good customer service, recommendations, selection of liquids and on the cheap side. Feel free to recommend me flavours need some to start trying :) Like coffee, got a sweet tooth, like menthol cigs and ofc chocolate....Are these flavours good ?
  • Do short charges destroy the battery of an e-cig like other batteries ?

Long version...

Ok very new to vaping. Using a simple store bought e-lite atm...Have to say for its size it produces ample vapor at the start. After about the 10th cartridge refill the draws become like sucking a golfball through a straw....Anyway not the point i got my moneys worth outta the £7 e-lite, just saying :p

So i went and bought myself a smokers halo ultra tank. One of the members said the battery looked like an ego batt. Could anyone else confirm this. Can always put up a picture tomarro as it should be arriving then :) Another member told me that i should look into getting a mini vivi nova tank for it....Based on that i did a little research and it seems with those tanks you can replace all the components individually and after checking up on the prices it looks like this is my best bet. Seen a site offering 3 replacement heads as well as a few other pieces for under £10 (is that a good price?)....Seems to me the biggest cost involved in e-cigs is replacing the cartomiser or clearomizer when they burn out.

Looking to find out if the threads on a vivi nova tank will match that of an ego battery as it seems like the nova tank would be much cheaper to replace....Switching my addiction from smokes to e-cigs so plan to be vaping for a while i wanna get as much info as possible and see whats cheaper :)

Another quick question while i have you....trying to find a good supplier for e-liquid...Have read all across the forums some places are cheaper than others...have also read that some companies have had bad batches of certain flavours...How often does this happen...Does it happen enough to worry about ? Price is my first concern as im only working part time (Full times hard to find around my area) and my hours can drop to 7 a week at times so living on a shoe string budget atm....One of the reasons i quit smoking :p

Looking for a site with plenty of strong flavours, good customer service and preferably on the cheaper end of the scale....

Another question while i have you :p At the minute im basically putting my e-lite back on charge the moment i dont smoke it...That means its getting like 10 mins charge at a time. In my experience short charges are very bad for the battery is the same true with e-cigs ? This shouldn't be that much of a problem with my new kit arriving tomarro as they are massive batteries and i can always have the backup charging at all times but just wanna find out incase for whatever reason i do end up needing to do intermittent charges.

Cheers to the people who have given me previous advice in my other thread, took it all on board and moving forward :) Thanks in advance to my avid readers for the help :)

Looks like an ego battery to me, but not 100%, if so vivi nova will fit fine, love the vivi nova myself. I see you are in the UK, so I do not have a local option for you, but mtbakervapor.com has a great selection and pricing, check them out if shipping doesn't kill you.

Also not sure on the short charging, bit I do know that charging before fully dead is recommended sure someone will chime in, cheers!

Sometimes the currency conversion makes up for the shipping cost :)....That was my experience when i used to buy stock for my old shop from the US....Will check it out cheers :)

nvm
USPS (First Class Mail International Parcels) $14.75 Cheapest Option :p

Could be worth it on a £50 order will check back later :)

  • Yes, the eGo has a 510 connection just like the VN. I took a look at your link and I believe these batts are eGo style with no variable voltage. I think they are not Joyetech, so voltage may be about 3.7 as opposed to 3.4. If this does not mean much to you, just store it away for future reference for now.

Juice flavors are hard to recommend for others because it's so subjective. Yes, get a couple from the fruits, the drinks, coffees, confectioneries, heck some people actually like vaping bacon (I've gotta try that sometime)! Buy small bottles until you know what you like. Some suppliers can have some variation in their juices, but I found this was not too bad for me. I DIY my juice now so I have complete control over it.

Do short charges destroy the battery of an e-cig like other batteries?

E-cig batteries are lithium ion chemistry. They do not develop any memory like ni-cads do. They actually like to be charged more often.

""Looking for a good supplier of e-liquid with good customer service, recommendations, selection of liquids and on the cheap side. Feel free to recommend me flavours need some to start trying Like coffee, got a sweet tooth, like menthol cigs and ofc chocolate....Are these flavours good ?""

Yes, for the lowest price on e-liquid in the world http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/...ntic-liqua-e-liquid-for-electronic-cigarettes

"""Do short charges destroy the battery of an e-cig like other batteries ?"" Nope, but built-in battery devices have a lifespan of around 300 charge/discharge cycles.
