A'right,

I just ordered an Ego vari-volt (3.6 to 4.2), which is a graduation from my 3.7 fixed volt ego passthrough(with a detachable battery, so yes it can/is mobile).
All excited, then I find an Ego 3-6 volt vari. CHEEEP. Also a P/T.

I am thinkin' SIX volts? Oh wow more things I can play with. I guess my question here is am I wasting money on a third toy and just justifying it with "wow its six volts!" or is there not a huge deal with just 4.2 at the most?

I mean, yeah, I am still a noob;one who was vaping on a 3.7 with 2 ohm cartos/addy exclusively. Then to further complexify things I discovered what a 1.5 bridgeless atty could do(Empire mods-they rock!)-W O W! and now I am like back to dripping which is how I started first.

Am I going backwards somehow being so enamored with a 1.5 atty dripping? I got a 1.5 ohm cartomizer and it's just not as rockin' as my 1.5 bridgeless atty from Empire Mods.

So, like, 3 to 6 volt vari? Yes/ no ? If I get this 3-6 volt vari am I opening up all kinds of possibilities to play with or do I just have "new vaper hoarding syndrome"? If I buy it I am going to have a total of two 900 mAh P/Ts and one 650 mAh P/Ts all with mobility.

How much of a difference exists between 4.2 volts and 6v ?

So, I am soliciting opinions here.

Thoughts?

A lot, but much of that upward range may not be usable at lower ohm ratings. I find my 2.0 cartos vape best at 4.3 or below, and actually prefer my CE3 cleartos at 3.8 to 4.3. It's rare I ever go higher than that.

If you had 3 ohm cartos on-hand then I'd say the upper range would be useful. At lower ohm ratings, I'd think you'd be tasting more burn than anything else--but some people do seem to like it.
