Need some advice - Sold a 'fake' Joyetech eGo-c

Hi there,

I was hoping someone here might be able to help me out.

So i received what i thought what going to be an official eGo-c, however, upon examination, it is not a genuine one.

I ordered from this site: http://smokegreenstore.com/Joye_eGo-C_starer_kit

Emailed the site, and the bloke said they are Joye not joyetech, but are basically the same, apart from the joyetech is £75.

As you can see the site is very misleading.

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any difference in the products?

The guy has offered me the official joyetech one for £60, and my current 'Joye' one has been used for ten minutes and then started leaking everywhere.

Obviously i don't want to spend £60 if the product won't be much different... Has anyone else experienced leaking on an official Joyetech product?

Hi and welcome to ECF.
Sorry i can`t help with the "is it/isn`t it" question, there are so many people selling so many variations that probably the only way to be sure would be to go to the joytech warehouse and pick one off the shelf (and i still wouldn`t be 100% convinced) LOL.
As for them leaking, well there are literally hundreds of threads on here about them leaking and ways to stop them, but most people (like me) eventually get fed up with them and switch to cartomisers or clearomisers

Used nothing but Joyetech since the ego first came out, but two months ago discovered Vision Ego Clearomizers and use nothing but clearomizers now. No leaking.

From what I understand if it says Joyetech is is a real Joye and Joye EGO is just the name of a battery type.I don't know anything about the leaking issue as I do not own one.http://www.ecigexpress.com/joye-ego...tech-ego-t-kit-tank-system-select-color-p-801 good luck.

Cheers for the responses guys.

My biggest concern at the moment is the leaking. A second ago i got liquid nicotine in my mouth, very worrying.

I did a bit of reading about the leaking, i've put a new cartridge in, but haven't had much time to test it as i feel like i've consumed too much nicotine, most likely through skin contact. We shall see though..

If the leaking stops i may just keep this one, it would be very useful if anyone here has any experience using both, so i know if there is any quality difference.
