I have finally found some stuff that works for me and I want to stock up. I am thinking that I will have to look to the US or China for the best prices and the selection I am looking for, could anyone make any reccommendations on where I could get: eGo-T battery atty/carts, CE2 (XL clearomizers 2.6-2.8 ohm), cisco LR 306 atties, and LR cartos, from somewhere that will ship to Canada?

So far I have found Cloudsofvapor, would that be a good way to go? I am pretty sure I remember someone from Canada saying they ordered from them. I am thinking China would have better prices but I don't know if there would be one company that would stock all of this?

Quick question: haven't tried all that is out there for LR carto's, can anyone advise me on the differences between 306, 510 and KR808 (has to be used with adaptor?) cartos for capacity, TH, etc? I haven't seen the 306's in Canada but I know Jack carries the KR808's but I don't think they are the LR ones?

Edit: Please include coupon codes if you know of any!!!

I'll stay away from giving you reviews on LR stuff, because I personally do not like them. I find they burn too hot and change the tastes of my juices. My sweet spot is between 2.6 and 2.8 ohms.

To the other part of your question, where should you order from: That will depend on the quantity and speed that you want your order to reach you at.

The cheapest and slowest option would be from China. When I say cheapest, it will be cheapest per unit but you may or may not be limited to ordering a high quantity 10 - 100 units. eg. If ordering the CE2's from e-liquid, you are required to purchase in quantities of 100. This brings the cartos to a price of around 60 something cents per unit. Shipping could take over a month, unless you are planning on spending on expedited shipping which would raise your overall cost per unit.

Second cheapest and faster option would be the U.S. Sure you will pay more, and it will still take you a couple of weeks to get to you. There are a lot of good products at really good prices to be had in the U.S and I frequently shop there for both hardware and juices.

Most expensive and fastest option would be within Canada itself. Shipping and cost per unit would be highest buying within Canada and all options of hardware may not yet be available here but we're getting there slowly.

I've used all 3 options in the last 7 months, depending on my need. Now that I am stocked up and time is not of consequence, I can sit back and wait for something to ship from China or the U.S as needed.

As for ordering everything from one vendor, you may not get that out of China, and may need to go to a vendor such as COV as they order and stock from multiple vendors in China.

Hope this helps.

Hi lelly.
FVxh8.gif
I don't know anything about the stuff you've chosen, so I can't help with that. I do want to point one thing out though about ordering from anywhere really, but especially direct from China.

Please take your time & read up on the supplier before you order. Google their site; google it with "problems" added to the search terms as well, lol; repeat with the specific products; search the forum here for reviews. Find out all you can.

Part of the reason I order from Jack right here in Toronto is that I can relax knowing that quality materials & workmanship went into the products (and knowing that it'll definitely arrive, and fast). It is very easy for a person to stumble across a knockoff manufacturer's Chinese site - a manufacturer who used inferior materials & workmanship, but perhaps has photos of legit Joye products, & bogus claims of authenticity. In such a case, it'd be easy for you to end up with inferior stuff.

That's why I think it's a better value to spend $30 on a quality Joye eGo batt, for example, that'll arrive fast & work properly...than to spend $13 on a potentially shoddy knockoff Joye eGo that'll take ages to arrive & might have serious problems. Cheaping out on your actual PV battery could mean any number of problems for you (inconsistent performance, early battery death...even a battery explosion if it's not vented properly). It also means you won't have the kind of customer support that you have when you go with someone like Jack. If something goes wrong...I wouldn't hold my breath for the Chinese supplier to take care of it.

David is right too re: quantity. And you should also consider: "how much am I actually saving here?"

Example: A 5-pak of Boge cartomizers from Jack, $10 - & it's here without problem in 2 days.

Exact same 5-pak of cartomizers from China, $5 - but it's subject to potential baloney from Customs (especially if it's LR, just ask poor FarmYard about his recent experience), & you have to wait for 2 to 4 weeks at least. All that, just to save $5? Totally not worth it, in my book.

Quality, convenience & customer support; they're all worth some additional money. You can sacrifice some or all of 'em & you might be fine. Might save a pretty penny if you're ordering hundreds of cartos, for example. Just be aware of what you're sacrificing when you go that route.

P.S. I totally agree with David's post, except I don't advise ordering liquid w/nic from China...any more than I'd advise ordering such from the States. You can do it if you want to...just don't say we didn't warn you, if & when your liquids are seized. If you're already on enough of a budget that saving a few bucks matters to you...it makes no sense to potentially flush your dough down the toilet on orders that might never arrive.

If we're just talking about premixed e-juice, ask David in a PM for some reliable U.S. sources - he'll know a few.

Ding, ding, ding, the Oracle has spoken. :)

No juice from China (for me). I'm a bit of a snob that way and every one that I've tried to this point has just not cut it. Hit me up with a PM if you need info on pre-mixed specialty juices.

p.s - I'm David for those not in the know, yet. :)

What does everyone mean when they say "China is closed"? Is there a hold on mail/freight leaving the country?

Josh, the country is pretty much in shut-down mode for the spring festival. There will be nothing shipping for the next week. It will be shipping mayhem even once they get going again with all the backed up orders etc. If possible hold off till the middle of the month at the earliest if ordering from CN.

Hey David! ...are you the Oracle, or am I?

Just wanted to clarify that when I said "don't order liquid w/nic from China," I wasn't knocking Chinese liquid. I was just saying I don't recommend a customer personally placing that kind of order, knowing it'll have to go through stupid Customs.

They make top-quality liquids at Boge/Dekang though; you can relax knowing it was made to exacting specs in a proper facility. Check out this vid:

I agree about supporting our Canadian vendors, their prices may be a bit more but if we don't support them, they won't exist!! And you can't beat the customer service and the fact that they stand behind what they sell. I will always put in a monthly order from HV for all my DIY stuff and couple pieces of hardware, plus vapables or evapers for my nic juice, where I usually grab atleast one other thing to try as well, juice or hardware. The price difference when you order your stuff month to month from canadian vendors is insignificant, just a couple bucks more, and I will pay it. But I am looking to stock up!!! The main one I wanted was the clearomizers. I will probably stick to Canada, or a reputable american company for the tanks and LR atties. For 100 cartos at more than half the price, I am saving over $100. I also couldn't find any Canadian vendors that actually carry the type that I want (2.6-2.8 ohm XL clearomizers if anyone knows of any, let me know!!). So by the time I go through my 100, perhaps a canadian company will start stocking them, or they will come out with something new and amazing that I can move onto. And no, I will not order any juice, I don't want to risk a big hardware order being seized because of a couple bottles of juices.

100 clearomizers will last you a long time. Things have been changing in leaps and bounds the last 6 months specially with regards to cartos. The ce2s have their limits and don't work as well with all juices and can be a PITA at times. You might want to see if someone might be interested in a coop buy with you. I still have more then half of the 20 I got 3 months ago working. Just my :2c

This is something I am worried about also, lol. What if I have to switch to 100% VG juices, or if they come out with something so new and amazing it makes these things obsolete, lol. I am just so indecisive that I figured if maybe if I just made up my mind on something that I enjoy right now, stop researching everything else that is out there and feeling the need to try everything, I may just disappear from this forum for awhile and enjoy vaping!

The best analogy that I can use to describe "something new and amazing" would be to compare it to the computer world. There is always something new and amazing coming out. If you choose to wait, you will be waiting forever. Buy what you need/want right now, and with no regrets. That being said, the Giantomizer is already on the horizon. 3.7 or 5ml cartomizer. Due to debut after the spring festival. As for me, I'm waiting to see the direction these "tank" style devices take us.

Until then, I have my stock of regular 510 atty's, CE2's and bridgeless 510 atty's to keep me vaping.

Yes, I was eyeing up that giantomizer, in my mind I was already buying one, lol. But after thinking about it logically, I switch between juices too often for this to really be worthwhile. I would have to carry around 3-4 of these monsters when I went out, and thats not realistic. I think the XL CE2s are enough for me. It is hard to not think bigger=better. That is why I must stockpile and just stop looking!!!

Can I ask what juices you use lelly? PG/VG ratio? I've found on my CE2's, I have wicking problems after a day or two of usage with my 30% or so VG juices. They gunk up around the edge of the coil, and nothing cleans it off. Carto has to be discarded at that point, even though they are fully functional. Just an FYI, if you are going to be ordering them in.

I don't have a specific ratio for my DIY juices, I'm still playing around trying to see what I prefer, but at the moment I have been using an 80/20 mix in the cartos. I have only been using them for 2 days but so far, so good. I wouldn't put and order in until after the festival is over in the middle of the month so I can give them a good test-run if I do end up ordering bulk from China. Or maybe I will just stick with an american vendor for a smaller quantity for now. Either way, thanks for the heads up, I will definetly watch for this. I change my mind so often that by then I will probably want something else, lol. I am already having second thoughts. Been puffing away on my hubby's eGo-T all night without even realizing it, and it is starting to grow on me a bit more. I may hold out for the LR version. AHHHH, just can't decide!!!

So far I have had great succes with hv and evapers. going to try some cheerywood from nfn next. even when I smoked analogs I like to have different cigars and to grab a pack of dunhills to change things up. friend went to the dominican republic and brought back same nice cigars around christmas. big suckers.

I can see my vaping taking the same trend. I need about 4 machines going I think so I can grab something different. I take 2 flavours with me when I leave the house now.
