Need some advice

Hey guys, pretty new to ecigs, been 4 weeks, anyway I am after a little info and advice.

I currently have a Janty Stick, vapor is ok, but it tends to often stop producing much vapor so I am constantly topping it up even when I know it's got loads of liquid in it. So I am basically looking to keep this one as a backup in case, and get a better one to carry around with me.

I came accross the Vapor King Ultimate Ultimatum package and have a few questions.

Firstly, does anyone have any good quality images of the cases in every colour? I am mainly after viewing the case in platinum/black/white, possibly red/blue too, yes I am picky about colour.

Also, what is the difference between the 2 89.50 kits, the Ultimatum, and Ultimatum manual kit? Is it just 2 manual batteries with the manual kit, and any choice of automatic/manual with the other kit? Can you choose multiple flavors in the 5 cartomizers with these kits?

I also noticed that unlike with my Janty, that it's difficult to refill these? Or is that a thing of the past now, as I noticed they sell blank cartomizers I assume they can be topped up more easily now?

Because I am in the UK, it will cost me $25 for delivery and I probably won't be home when it eventually arrives (unless anyone can tell me average time for UK delivery so I can plan for my days off work?), so I will probably order 10 cartomizers and plenty of different 5ml liquid flavors, are there any vile ones to stay away from? Was planning on getting lemon meringue, apple, banana, strawberry and ice cream sundae in 5ml, peach and RY4 in 20ml.

I think that's all I wanted to know for now, not certain though heh

I think you have the differences between the two Ultimate kits down. One was automatic batteries, and one was manual, but he will now let you choose a combination.

The cartomizers come 5 all the same. But since he likes to make people smile, he might have some loose ones he can cobble together if you ask nicely.

He also usually includes extras, I got two boxes of 5 in flavors as a bonus in addition to the 3 boxes of 5 I ordered extra.

I'll tell you that they look precisely as good as they look in the pics. These cases are very nice. The carrying case and PCC are exactly the same, until you open them up.

The manual kit contains manual batts & passthru. The other is automatic. If you want, you can mix batt/PT types by requesting it in the comments section.

Nothing has changed, it's always been easy. Not quite as easy as a 3-piece e-cig, but simple enough. There is a "Refilling the cartomizer" sticky at the top of the forum. There is also a thread titled "My refilling trick" that will tell you how to get a bit more juice in the carto.

Awesome I never thought to go look at the cases individual page for colours, cheers, however platinum seems to be missing from the selection of images. Pretty sure I will go for the black case, with white PCC (unless I can find a platinum image), if I go black for both the headaches will never end .

Think I have no use for a passthru, I have no problem with leaving the PCC charging one battery while I use the other, so I will hopefully just get one manual and one automatic battery, manual because that's what I'm used to so far, but also an automatic because it seems easier and I might like it, I can always buy another manual or automatic replacement later. Or am I getting the idea of a passthru wrong? If batteries last 4 or more hours, 8 hours between 2 batteries, why use a passthru when you can pretty much always have one battery on charge when at a PC anyway with the PCC plugged in to keep it charged up?

Well, easy for me is a 10 second pull cart out and drip a few times, hopefully taking cartomizers apart will get quicker the more I do it, videos certainly help.

Yeah that's what I was planning, buying 10 blank ones, like 5 different 5ml liquids to trial, and a couple 20ml I can stick with until I want to spend the $25 shipping again. I use RY4-H with my janty which is ok so I know I should like it if it's similar, but peach I have no idea, can't wait heh.

That's all I order now, and I'll tell you why...

The 5ml bottles are from the newest shipment and match the liquid in the pre-filled cartos. The 20ml aren't old or bad, by any means, but they are a bit weaker in the flavor department.

I personally love the 555 flavor. I only order the 5ml bottles. Yes, it's a bit more expensive, but to me it's worth it.

Just in case you want to know, 555 is a tobacco type flavor. It's just a bit sweet and has a "nutty" aftertaste. A lot like the aftertaste from eating cashews.

On edit: 20 drops is a good starting point. As you get more comfortable with it, you can get 30 or more drops in, using the spinning trick. I generally fill 5 cartos with 30+ drops each from one 5ml bottle.

HBAndrew, the reason you want a passthru is because of the higher voltage.. I may be a little off on the numbers but I think the passthru is 5 volts, and a regular battery is 3.7 volts?

Not to distract from cartomizers, which I also am quite interested in, but I also had poor wicking performance in my Janty Stick. Here's how I fixed it...

Most of your questions were answered so nothing to say really but want to reassure you that refilling these carts are very easy. dont pour the liquid in just go 1 drop at a time. some people do 30 drops some do 20 i do about 18 to20 and its great. so keep that in mind. Also when refilling you must use Taryn's refilling method. it is great. the post is on the 3rd page way on the bottom. its callled My refilling Trick by Taryn. the post might move to the 4th page so want you to know. taht is obvious ok.
there are many videos out on refilling. Most are great. great bunch of people here so dont hesitate to ask anybody anything. Have fun and Happy Vaping

Thanks guys you have all been very helpful, I have made the order, and managed to find the 20% discount aswell. A friend just told me there's a possibility of some import tax thing, didn't know that or if it's true didn't see anything anywhere, ah well, bed time anyway, thanks all.
