Ran out of e-juice mid-morning.. anticipated order from Tasty Vapor coming in today (which it did), but in the meantime I was getting ancy and really not wanting to smoke an analog so checked out the Gas Pipe to see if they had anything. BIG MISTAKE.

What they had was not even e-liquid, it was flavoring. Long story short I bought a small bottle of something called Chronic Hypnotic or whatever, squeezed a couple of drops in and whoooaaaaa... that's gotta be the most god-awful taste... it's kinda like menthol combined with aftershave lotion and that vaporub chest congestion crap all rolled together.

I only have the 1 atty at the moment and although I can change carts, I cannot seem to get that smell out of the atty. It carries right through the cart and I need some way to get that smell/taste out. If anyone has a method for this puullease post it. Hell I'll even gladly take a gamble on something you THINK some guy that looks like your brother-in-law's cousin's uncle tried once to good effect.

I had clove flavoring totally infused on one of my atties and seemed to ruin anything after that and found two methods that killed it, one was vaping with 28mg menthol and the other was a good cleaning then a reprime. I hate cleaning, I hate repriming (I don't think i get the bridge dry enough cuz it takes like 3-5 minutes to prime) Every once in a while I get the urge to hit up that clove flavor again and do so long enough to much up an attie until 2 days ago when for the betterment of my sanity, I tossed it out.

tranced, what would one clean it with, dishwashing soap? And then boil it? jjrose, how about Colgate with baking soda and whitening...

update: Okay thanks guys I think I killed it. Did the toothpaste wash with both the atty and one of my carts then boiled the atty in hot water for about 5 minutes and fan-dried. With a little kickstarting it slowly breathed life unto itself once again. Had a very slight hint of that nasty flavor just for a few hits and then Tasty Vapor arm wrestled it into submission...

Glad you got it at least mostly out. However, did you mean to say toothpaste? jjrose was talking about mouthwash, not toothpaste. The Crest Health Pro is a non-alcoholic mouthwash that is good at dissolving gunk in attys. Toothpaste is going to have silica and fluoride and other things rather unfriendly to attys.

Another really good cleaner that I use is polydent 12 hour tablets. Put a little hot water into a cup, add atty and tablet and swirl every once in a while. Next morning flush with lots of hot water, let it dry (can use 250 deg oven for 30 minutes or so), dry burn it to get a good glow going, and the atty is almost like new. Revived many hopelessly clogged attys of mine that the Crest was unable to take care of...but I should say that the Crest HP is a very good cleaner most of the time.

Vineger is a great hosehold product! Did you know that vineger will remove rust?

Anyway, I have had good luck with soaking in DIET soda also. Not regular soda which contains HFCS but diet soda. As I recall, diet soda's are very acidic. Some also have mentioned lemmon juice but I have not tried it.

Hawaii! Yay haha
When switching flavors on an atty, I vape plain PG/VG liquid (which I bought to cut down some of my high-nic liquids) and I puff until there's no flavor. Sometimes it takes a couple drips. I read somewhere on this forum that you can buy pure glycerin (I think that's PG liquid, maybe VG?) from local drugstores. That might do the trick for you :)

Great advice.:) I only vape one flavor now but in the beginning I tried lots of different flavors. Vaping plain PG/VG or some unflavored nic worked wonders. Menthol and double flavored raspberry were the only ones I had trouble with but cola with a hint of raspberry is an ok vape to me. The menthol one I just tossed.:p:D

I bought a Decadent Vapor liquid (through Totally Wicked) called Green Cow, which has caffeine. The caffeine is sort of thick, and settles in the bottle. I have to shake it before dripping, and after using it, the stuff really cakes onto the atty. Thankfully the plain PG liquid takes care of cleaning it off, but I do have to puff for awhile... drip,puff... drip, puff... repeat...

But it does work! :)

Hi ... Try Peroxide, works for me, just get a shot glass, fill it with peroxide and let the atty soak. I use that stuff for all my cleaning, gets onion and garlic smells out of my bamboo cutting board, and works on my attys.

I'm all about the ever-clear! You can use them almost immediately afterwards because the high grain alcohol evaporates very quickly. If that doesn't work I borrow the wife's poly-dent/efferdent... denture cleaner. I usually wait 24 hours before trying the atty after that because they die on me if they are even the slightest bit wet (with water).
