Yes you can polish darn near any metal. I polish firearms, motorcycle frames, coins, soda cans, jewelry, you name it. if its brushed or textured you will need to sand out with some fine grit sandpaper whatever you start with remember you HAVE to get all the previous grit scratches out before you move to the next finer grit. Work your way up to like 2k and polish it with some good aluminum (or whatever metal) polish. You can do it by hand with a microfiber, or by machine (dremel, or bench grinder with polishing wheels attatched) I polished a glock slide (without sanding) by hand in about 8 hours total. Thats including taking the factory coating off! IT CAN BE DONE!
