so i decided to finally make my first battery mod. It is a mechanical, side-actuated push button setup. I'm just curious, do you like it with the grooves or without the grooves? I'm just debating as to which one i like. I'm also open to other ideas as well for the main body.

Both look good, are you going to mill them yourself?

I am machining them myself. Materials and supplies are in so i'm just in the process of programing the tool paths.

Snore.... C'mon Rat have some fun. Triangular like a toblerone box would be a challenge....
If i was swiss, the toblerone would make sense. while interesting, it would be bigger and possibly uncomfortable. Though maybe a triangular one would be good for the new vapor, kind of like the starter pencils from kindergarten.

also, i don't really feel like setting up my 4th axis on my mill right this second. It is a process at the least.

I pretty much knew it couldn't happen on a lathe alone, was really just messin with ya. On the grooves thing, perhaps a diamond pattern in between the grooves would be cool, small for gripping or large just for looks.
