That does help, I won't be going that low ohm wise so I should hope for 4 hours or so per battery, that's about perfect for me :)

Oh, and I'll need some sort of ohm checker because I do plan to go low ohm on an 18650 battery when at home.

Should I just buy a decently priced VV mod as it won't be much more than the 25 for an ohm checker? Is that what most people do?

After three weeks I can consistently wrap a .8 ohm wire set-up on my Igo-w3 RBA, but I use the ohm checker, which you can find for under $20 as a safety precaution. The thing about going to RBA from Ego is now I hate how hard I have to hit my Protank Mini 2 to get a satisfying vape. Here's the deal from a relative newb: I went with a mech mod because I like to fiddle, and chill with others who like to tweak things. I also like the assembling and reassembling for various batteries, short tube for work (discrete) and full-length for at home. I like the feeling of mastering the RBA technique. Also, there's a kind of cachet to mech mod usage that I like.

In any case I hope to drill bigger holes in my Mini Protank to try to get that airflow I like. Maybe I'll end up going back to ego!

I am currently carrying about a 14500 Mech (the "IAHABO" form KidneyPuncher) with a rebuilt EVOD on top. The EVOD has a 1.3 Ohm microcoil (29g nichrome) with a fluffy cotton wick. I also use in on a little 450 mAh spinner set to 3.4v. Both configurations are lightweight, compact, leak-less and hit like champions. A Fogger on top of a Segelei 8w works superbly as well and leaks not a drop, but it feels like a MagLite in my pants pocket and ruins my posture in my shirt pocket; not to mention the Fogger itself can be a real tempermental bugger sometimes.

Thanks for the input. This is exactly why I went with the K100 as well. Short and stealthy for out and about but can run low ohm stuff at home when it's extended with an 18650 :) I enjoy tinkering too. I've rebuilt motorcycles and built my own guitar petals, this should be easy!

I watched Rip Trippers videos on micro coiling the Pro Tanks and now I'm all pumped to do that!

As for an ohm checker, I found a used mod for 40 bucks I'm just gonna buy. Might as well have an ohm checker I can vape out of :)

Thanks folk,

I'm gonna look into that IAHABO. I need to have one or 2 regulated devices (check ohms, mess with wattage, etc) just for fun, but I too think I'm going to go back to mech mods, they just seem to be more......... fun :) The Evod rebuild sounds cool, I'm gonna mess with rebuilding micro coils in the Pro Tank which uses the same atomizers so then I can rebuild the 2 Evod's I have coming in the mail as well :) I purchased a couple Evods to try in the K100 for a stealth option :)
