I am really at the end of my rope as far as vaping. I don't want to give it up, but I have come to a crossroads and giving it is up is one of the options under serious consideration. After getting battery after battery that began to die two to three months in, I decided to take the plunge and get an APV. My first was a LavaTube. It lasted 12 hours. I exchanged it for another, it also lasted 12 hours. I gave up on them. Got myself a ZMax and was very happy. Well, about two weeks ago it began to cut in and out. This thing is three months old. Smoktech claims a 6 month warranty, but they won't respond to me, so that's useless. I can't afford Provari money, but I can't replace a ZMax every three months, either, so I am really stuck. My budget is extremely tight.

I would like to find something around the price tag of the Smoktech - preferably less - that will actually last more than a few months. Does anyone have enough experience over a long period of time to recommend their device? I'm looking for devices that have been trouble free for at least a year. I don't have the tools and steady hands to fix these things, nor do I think I should have to after dishing out this kind of money for one. I also don't want to get advice from a dealer because they show you "the best thing out there," then when you have trouble with it you hear, "Oh, yeah, that always happens." Would have been good to know before I spent oodles of cash on it. Then they make you feel like an idiot because you are having issues with it.

So what's the word?

Well, I think the Zmax runs about $100-$120. I'm not sure. But I got my Provari on a blemish sale from Provape for $140 and its been vaping strong for a year and a half. It wasnt even blemished at all but just doesnt have the logo and. They were doing away with the chrome ones. Also they are titanium. You could probably drive over it and it wouldn't hurt it. That's important to me because I tend to drop mods on my tile floors all the time. I've dropped and knocked it over and still it doesn't even nick or scratch easy. I know people get sick of hearing people rave about the Provaris but if you plan on vaping as a way of life, they are the best deal around.

edit...I looked at another site and saw Zmax price at about $65 so that would be a bigger difference in price. All I know is if you want a mod that is very durable and lasts a really long time, you will probably have to pay for it.

Provape has blemish sales about once a year, I think. And from what I've seen posted from people that have bought them, plus personal experience, they come spotless but without the logo or a very faint logo. Maybe get one next time they do it. I have been hearing alot of good things about the vamo. But I still think most mods I've looked at and checked out Dont seem near as sturdy as a Provari. I tried a tesla at the last Vape meet and it seemed cheap in my hand. I'm probably gonna get blasted for saying it. Lol. The button just seemed cheap to me. I dunno.

Alright, nevermind my post. Against better judgement, I went and checked the blemish lot and I now have a ProVari mini on the way. As soon as I get that the ZMax will be pushed back to "Oh, ....., I broke it again!" status for just in case. Thanks, guys.

Well at least you know you're good for a year because of the warranty. If it happens to break after a year they will still repair it for you. From what I understand that usually cost about $40.
