Need suggestions for loose brass center pin

I have an Axis box mod and the brass adjustable center pin is really loose so it just spins with the atty once it makes contact. What happens is eventually it just keeps going in until the atty is flush with the mod and then loses contact. Any idea of a substance or a safe way to make the brass pin not thread so loosely into the mods 510, or any way to prevent this from happening? Thanks

If it's threaded, you can try Teflon tape. It will secure the screw and would be easy to take out. Also, another solution is to put a SMALL drop of BLUE loctite (do not use red!!) on the thread. The blue loctite does the same thing as the Teflon tape, just in a more durable fashion.

Yeah its a brass pin that threads in and out to adjust in order to make your atty sit flush. At this point I'd much rather have a flush connection with a snug atty over a small gap. I heard ppl use some kind of substance on mechanical mods to help with conductivity on the threads and supposedly it makes the threads a little "stiffer/stickier" which would be exactly what I need but I thought it was only for certain kinds of metal not including brass. Would the 2 suggestions made in the quoted post negatively affect conductivity or mess anything up? I put this question to both the mod maker and the vendor I bought it from so I'm waiting for a response but I'd love as much feedback as possible from ppl who have experience with this type of thing. Gonna research locktite and teflon now, any additional feedback would be much appreciated and I'll be checking back here frequently, thanks guys!!

Blue loctite is conductive. Teflon is not.

But if you're working with the positive pin (the top pin on a mech), that is insulated from the rest of the mech, which conducts the negative end of the battery anyway. So it doesn't matter about the conductivity. The positive pin should be encased in some sort of an insulator like delrin or something.
