I've had mine since October (got it from Vapor4Life), and I have no desire to use anything else. Good throat hit is critical for me, and the KR8 gives me that. I don't know what the vapor production is in comparison to anything else (I had a 510 for about 5 days once, but I don't remember earth-shattering vapor), but it gives plenty of vapor to satisfy me. Battery life is good --depending on how often I take a drag, a regular auto battery lasts me anywhere from 3-5 hours. Hope that helps!

GrimmGreen's YouTube reviews and comments on the KR808D-1 were the most influential during my research. For example, "Most Satisfying vaping Experiences #3 and #4":

YouTube - NEW! most satisfying vaping experiences #3 and #4

Grimm has got quite a few reviews on the KR808D-1 (Vapor King/Nebula/Easy Cig) line, covering pretty much anything you'd want to know about the performance, maintenance, and usability of the product. Most importantly, Grimm compares his 808 experiences with a lot of other models. He's a great reviewer.

Personally I went with the KR808D-1 for the following reasons:

-Consistent performance
-Easy to maintain
-Easy to refill
-There are plenty of vendors supporting it
-Not fiddly or messy

So far it's been holding up very well in the 3 weeks I've been vaping exclusively. It's also been popular on the smoking deck at work-- I've turned 14 people :thumb:

- More difficult to refill than a 510 (but managable)
- Burned plastic, and quite a few people said theirs burned without a warning from burned taste
- Gets to hot to enjoy very quickly for me

Tastes great, though, for those first few vapes. Try one, if the burned plastic does not turn you off, the carts are not expensive, and you can use the battery with other attomizers. Natively, they fit 901s, with an adapter, everything else.

I have a KR8 and a 510. the KR8 is really good when I'm on the go and in a hurry to get my nic. But if I'm home I like the 510. The 510 seems to produce better clouds of vapor- but for taste etc I'm digging the KR8. I don't regret getting it one bit. I prefer filling blank carts because I'm definatly picky about the taste of my vape. :)

I'm only two weeks into this. I've got three eCigs, and I'm leaning toward my KR808D-1 as being my favorite. I'm aware of the 510's popularity, but I find I'm less drawn to it than the other two ... it's coming in third place. I have had no difficulty refilling the cartomizers. I find a small hex wrench (1-1.5mm) works great for removing the end plugs, and then just drip the juice slowly in. Vaping seems more consistent and flavorful than with the other two eCigs. Get the extra long batteries for battery life ... and be sure to get the PT. I've got auto and manual batteries and prefer the manual. I've got one short battery which was included in the kit (2 wks ago) which appears to be dead, won't charge.

Buying an extra battery essentially gets you an extra eCig for $15.

Can't wait to see if the Juice Box knocks my KR808D-1 off my #1 spot, when I finally get it.
