Hey Everyone,

I am new to the forum and e cig's. My friend had a Blucig that I tried and thought was ok, after finding this forum I decided to buy a Joye 510 which I LOVE! I ordered from thevaporpro . com and the the 5 pre filled cartridges it came with were awesome! I ordered some other e juices from vaporbomb to use once my pre filled ones were empty, well that time has come and when I used the new juice I am able to produce TONS of vapor but it doesnt feel like I'm smoking anything?
Any advice?

Thanks!!

What PG/VG blend did you choose?

A lot of flavors don't have much TH even in the same nicotine and PG/VG balance. Things like Peach and creamy flavors are pretty smooth. A tarter fruit might have a bit more TH. Tobaccos range from low to higher TH. Some flavors add TH like cinnamon and other spices, mints and menthols, ginger etc.

PG lets through more TH, VG makes more vapor. Popular blends include 70pg/30vg and 80pg/20vg. Higher nicotine also adds more TH - I do not recommend raising your nic just to get TH. Instead change your juices, get different juices, and/or get a different PV with more power like an Ego whose fat battery can handle LR (low resistance) atomizers which can provide a bigger hit.

Prefilled carts like those from the kit manufacturers are typically 100% PG like Dekang Chinese 100% PG juices. You can buy those juices at LiteCigUSA.net and elsewhere.

If you want to add TH to a juice you already have there is an additive called Qhit and FreedomSmokeUSA has a (ground black) pepper ejuice.

If for some reason you need to use all 100% VG (normally lower TH), then buy AveJuice Boba's Bounty for TH. Not sure if their other juices provide the same TH but someone else would know.

Also keep your atty clean and keep your cart flowing well. If the stuffing gets old and cranky then try the precut blue foam stuffing for 510 from strictlyejuice.com

Not sure if you prefer menthol or not, but I use a blend of some menthol juices from strickly ejuice. I blend their menthol 60% with their menthol freeze 30% and then top it off with pure VG 10%. The TH is out of this world, especially with an LR atty vs. standard atty. I noticed that adding the 10% VG keeps the TH strong but still gives you the best mix of TH and vapor.

Hello. I am very new to all of this. And I am so confused on how to calculate how much of each I need to put. I am confused on how to use the online ejuice calculators too. I would love to try the blend that you mentioned. I am was a menthol smoker and would love to have something with a good menthol taste and TH hit. I bought the juice that you suggested from stricklyejuice but don't know how many drops I need to put for each or how many drops of each. I would really appreciate your help or anyone's help to help me figure this out. Thanks.

Ejuice calculators are pretty much for DIY - Do It Yourself - juice making; buying the nicotine, bases and flavors all separately. You have to know what percent propelyne glycol to vegetable glycerine you want, how many miligrams of nicotine per mililiter you want, what percentage of flavoring you want in your batch, and then the calculator will tell you how much to measure of each ingredient to make whatever size batch you want.

If you just want to combine premixed juices, get some small empty dropper bottles - 3 or 5 ml bottles work - and just measure by the drops. 20 drops equal roughly 1 ml. So 60% methol would be six drops, 30% menthol freeze would be three drops, 10% VG would be one drop when all added together would be 10 drops or .5 ml. Double those amounts to make a 1ml batch. Six times those amounts would make 3 ml. Ten times those amounts would be 5 ml of liquid.

Two flavor ingredients that I think contribute a lot to throat hit are cinnamon and ginger. For cinnamon, you could try any number of vendors' cinnamon candy flavors (Tastyvapors Atomic Cinnacide, for example). I've lately become quite fond of ginger, whether in a gingerbread type flavor or something less sweet (Ginger or Raspberry Ginger Ale from VelvetVapors).
