need to know about my e-liquid

wonder any1 can explain to me..is there anything (in the menthol) e-liquids that is perishable?..i have just acquired a 500ml bottle of PG menthol @ 48mg strength..does the e-liquids has a expiry date(1 yr or more) on it? or does the e-liquids matured with aged?..presently i store all my e-liquids in the fridge rather than a cool place in the dark,in doing so can prolong my e-liquid's life? ..with my (1/3)menthol @ 48mg diluted with (2/3)VG base to produce my favorite <18mg menthol "cloud of smoke" vape & can last me at least 2 yrs..hope to get answers to my dilemma..thanks in advance..regards mafig

e-liquid only has a shelf life of 2 yrs when it's kept in a dark and cool place. If not, then it won't last as long.

It is generally accepted that E-juices have a shelf life of about 2 years, so you should be good.

I have not been vaping long enough to test one after 2 years to see if the theory is true.

Both Vermillion River and Johnson Creek say 6 months refrigerated on their website information. Is that just to get you to throw it out if unused for over their 6 month suggestion?

thanks to all with answers..as all chemical has a shelf life everything has a sell-by-date too..even ice cubes..just wonder if this is true with e-liquids(so 2 yrs seems a long time but not so if it is only 6 months,be4 expired)..as i live in tropical island,our climate on average is over 30 deg C..even in dark/cool place my aquarium temperature always just dipped below 30..day & night..that is why i leave all my e-liquids in my fridge..only worry i have is my 48mg nicotine content if over the yrs,thro evaporation will cause my e-liquid to be more concentrated,xx mg stronger..i think..yes i will report back if i am still using this e-liquid in 2013..regards mafig

One more thing, I've heard on the forum people freeze their nic juice or concentrated nic for longer storage, but can't remember where...if you don't get answer in this thread, try asking about freezing nic liquid, also try the DIY forum where mixing experts preside.
