Time to relax, hence I want to order within the next half an hour. Should I order the P16 plus, or the P18350 plus ?
I am just a bit taken back that the batteries for the 18350 are not protected.
Will I have to buy a new charger since my trustfore one doesn't mention taking the 18350's?
Thanks for helping me out to find "the perfect mod".
If I love the new one, I will sell my P10. I'm weird like that, just like to have one mod.

No need for another charger if you have a multi charger, they go from 16340-18650 and the 10440
The 18350 is a safer chemistry than li-ion,and its not real likely to go boom in a single battery configuration
As for 16340 vs 18350,which is more important to you,a couple mm's diameter bigger(not much at all)or a couple hrs more battery life
I have both and they are almost identical,ALMOST.

The 18 seems "fatter". Thanks for the info on the Trustfire charger, it mentions pretty much every battery, but not the 18350. Yes, I am just a safety freak and have no clue about battery safety at all, just liked the protected "spiel".
Since you have both (even though the P16 isn't the plus correct?), which one do you prefer. As long as I will be able to fire the button with my pinky I'm good. I really wanted to order from David directly (his 7 day return policy rocks), instead going to a different vendor. However, I am ordering tonight, no matter what, back and forth betwen the P16 and P1850. Somebody please make a decision for me at this point. ;)

If you are looking for the smallest unit that is above the P+10440, the P+16340 is the next smallest. The P+18350 is out of stock and is 2mm thicker which it's still a small mod, but the P+ 16340 is noticeably thinner. As far as batteries, the IMR are a different chemistry and a protection circuit is not necessary on them. Hope that helps!

"noticeably thinner", just when I thought I finally had it figured out. Was about to order from Happy Vapor in Canada since you are sold out. I love your 5 day return policy and customer service though, that and "noticeably thinner", made me reconsider once again. The insanity of it all, crazy.
David, if I bought a P plus from another vendor, your 5 day return policy would not apply correct?
Secondly and lastly, idf I orderred the P16+ within the next hour, apprximately when would it get shipped?
Thanks, Julia

In reading through your emails and posts here, i really get the feeling you want the smallest mod possible and if that is the case and are hesitating or undecided, i'd really error on the side of smaller and the P+16340 would be the way to go. You will not be disappointed in its size or performance.

Alright them. Which batteries would you recommend for the 16. IMR or ICR? I just thought the 18350 was the "perfect match" since it is rather short (bit stout) giving me many extra hours of vaping before changing the battery. Thank you for taking the time to read through my insanity. I just thought you'd agree about the +35 since it is so tiny and has such great battery power. Vapor production and ease of draw, and of course how often I have to swap the batteries are also factors I strongly consider.
I told you I would listen to your advice this time and not go "against" your recom. If I order the P35 and end up not liking it, I guess I could always sell it here. I'm giving myself another hour and then order. The 5 day refund wouldn't apply to you if I get the P35 since it wouldnt have been purchased from you right.
Thanks Dave, I am taking a short nap, hopefully waking up with an ephiphany.

On the return policy, that is my return policy and may not apply to delears as they have their own return policies. The P+16340 and P+18350 are identical in all aspects except size and the battery the accept. I've just heard you express alot of concern over size so i'm recommending the P+16340 and as far as batteries, i'd get two of each, AW ICR 123/16340 and AW IMR 16340.

David,
Thank you for your endless advice and kind words. I thought all day about my decision, checked out pictures and videos of the P16 and the P350. I was about ready to click "check out" on your site when I changed my mind and went for a P18350 from "Happy Vapor" in Canada. This whole deal did cost me about $50 more tha if I had ordered from you, but what's done is done.
Should I ever have "problems" with my new P350, will I still be able to send it to you to fix it, even though I didn not purchase it from you?
I also "warned" Josh? from Happy Vapor that I am very specific and if I could return the unit if it would be a bad fit. he left a message saying that so far not one customer retured their Precise (great job David !!!), but I could call him. I just hope the firing button is not too stiff. I remember the wobderful job you did on my P10, sanding the hard edges off the button, making it buttery soft.
I hope I didn't dissapoint you by going with the P350 istead with the P16. Thank you again for all your efford and have a great week. I will keep buying from you as always (batteries, etc and maybe a p16 in the future :)

Just recieved my +16340, and It's just beautiful. 2mm is actually a bigger difference than you might imagine, once you hold it in your hand. ;) I really like the proportions of this discreet, little mod, and I'm glad David kept it in the line.

Too late now. I just ordered a P18350 after reading hours upon hours of reviews, looking at videos and comparing sizes. The main reason I chose the P350 in the end was its lenght. Yes, the width might get a little bit used to, but at least it's short, hence it will be easier for me to keep using my pinky instead of ring finger. I hope it will all work out, decision made and an expensive one on top. Nobody can beat Dave's prices, however, I understand that the vendor has to make a profit as well. Let's hope I made the right choice and thanks to everybody's help.

There's no "wrong" choice between those two mods. I'll have to change batteries more frequently than you will. :) As vapn said, I'm sure you'll love it.

And vapn, thanks for the advice. I'll have to try a couple of the protected batteries too.

Get both, then send the one you don't like to me :). In all seriousness though, I would pick up the 18350 because the caps are interchangable with all the p+18s. I have a p+18650 and p+18500, I recently dropped my 18650 on the switch and it has consequently locked up. while its out for repair I can use my switch from my 18500. Might not be a feature you like but I think its something to consider.

I have obviously lost it. I just cakcellled my order at Happy Vapors (bless their hearts) to get something directly from Dave. However, now I am thinking to stick to the new P10pllus or obviously the P16 plus. I wasn't aware that the P1850 and P 16 were the SAME lenght. I just knrw that the P18 is wider. Ordering as soon as I get back home.

I'm about ready to buy the other one and loan it to you to try... you just need to get one in your hands and you'll be in heaven. The only reason I haven't purchased a 16340 is because I want to stay with the 18xxx batteries... Kick reasons. :) But you really can't go wrong with either the 16340 or the 18350, the only difference is 2mm diameter/girth.

Also, I kinda want a 16340 just because I want another Precise Plus... can't explain exactly why either. So, the offer is there to buy the other one you don't want, I can send Paypal funds any time.
