I've been vaping for a couple months now without an analog, and was doing fine until just recently. I started craving analogs like crazy!

I started reading about MAOI's, and this makes a lot of sense. I had been smoking since I was 13 and Ford was president. God, I'm old, lol! Anyways, I figure I have been adding MAOI's to my brain chemistry since it was still forming, and now my brain and emotional centers won't work right without them!

I checked into snus, and bought some this morning after work (I work 12 hours, 6p.m. to 6a.m.). Woke up this afternoon, had my usual morning vape-fest, ate, then put in a snus. Beautiful! Within a few minutes almost, the craving for pukearettes faded and a calm washed over my body. I have been vaping also, but far less than usual. I think this combo, getting my MAOI's along with the hand-to-mouth and simulated "smoking" is going to be the final answer for me. We'll see, but it seems positive!

Here's a bit of the problem for me. It seems I'm going to have to stick with Camel Snus, as there is no way I can predict, with my work schedule, when I can be home to recieve and sign for packages from U.P.S. and until I can find someone that sells Sweedish snus here in Long Beach, Ca. I'm pretty much stuck with the Camel stuff. Back to giving money to big tobacco, which kind of ticks me off, but if it will keep me off analogs, so be it. I'll keep checking tobacco stores in the mean time, and hopefully I'll either find Sweedish snus or be able to convince an owner to start carrying them!

Brian,

I missed a delivery, and you can go online and have them hold it at the local distribution center. I had to drive 45 to get there, but I got my snus. They leave a paper with the procedure on it. As I recal, you go online and fill out a very short form. Then they call you to tell you what time your package will be available at the desk.

Good to see you over here, and glad you found a little something to keep it level. Happy snusin'.

Thanks everyone. Day two and still MELLOW...

I think I found a place, Joe R.'s Churchill, in Long Beach. When I called and told them I found them on General's website, after explaining exactly what snus are to the employee, he said they had some. I'll go tomorrow, but just in case I'm checking the U.P.S. website for where the closest distribution center is, or maybe I can have them shipped to a local U.P.S. store? All will be well anyways...

    Somewhere between here and there
That would be good to try some first to kind of get a feel for what you like. Since PACT started, the shipping prices are kinda high but it's still cheaper than buying it by the can in most places. You just have to put together a decent sized order to offset the shipping charge.

First off, you're not old unless you had Eisenhower as president when you were 13, but my mom was born 20 days after Teddy Roosevelt died so even I am not THAT old. Hiya Brian, welcome to the dark side.

Yes the PACT act has made getting the good stuff a definite hassle as I wait for UPS to show up today with Thunder Coola. A thought that hit me while typing and something I did for products I wanted not to be sitting out when I worked, make arrangements with your mail room at work (or whoever receives packages) if possible and do it when you can place a large order so you'll be covered for awhile. These vendors come up with free shipping on and off and you can really reduce your overall cost. Also consider friends and family that are home and could help you out,
