Welcome @Se7enthSin . Glad you found us.
Looks to me like you have an Aspire Triton tank. Very nice tank to vape from. I have 2 myself. Really enjoy the top fill feature. I also have 3 Arctic tanks and 1 Kanger mini tank. I do alot of swapping during the day. Depending on the ohm's of your coil, that determines where you should vape as a start. You will find that each flavor seems to have its own sweet spot for max flavor. Depending on what I am vaping at the moment, I have the .5 ohm coils in mine, and I will run anywhere from 12 watts to 30. You have to find the sweet spot! Good luck to ya!!!!

Your device is an Istick 50W with an internal battery...sometimes people also refer to the device as "the battery" but a more usual term is the mod or boxmod...

The device that goes on top of this is called "the tank" (also sometimes called clearomizer, or when you build your own coils as RBA, RTA or RDA (which in turn stands for rebuildable atomizer, rebuildable tank atomizer or rebuildable dripper atomizer)).
The one you have here is a tank called "Triton" from the company Aspire.

Inside the tank goes a coil (also called an atomizer), this is the unit that actually vaporizes the liquid. It contains a piece of coiled wire and some wicking material.
Now: the piece of coiled wire (the coil) comes in different resistances/materials.....you usually adjust your wattage depending on which resistance coil you use and your preference. The lower the resistance of the coil the more wattage it takes to heat, and hence the higher wattage you can run on your device before burning your wicking material.
Usually it is stamped on the coil for which wattage range they are suiteable....so check to see what it is if in doubt how high you can go in wattage.

On the atomizer it says 13 watts and it has lower tootoo. Does this mean I shouldn't set my battery to any thing higher than that?

I don't have that tank, but from what I am reading, that indicates that you have a 1.8 ohm coil in there. The 1.8 ohm coil is intended for use between 10-13 watts, according to Aspire Triton Review - Top Filling Sub Ohm Tank

I would recommend not going much over the 13 watts if at all possible. If you want to go bigger, you have a few options. First, you could learn to make your own coils and use an RBA deck with it. This will let you choose the wire and be able to make whatever resistance you want(it must be higher than 0.2 ohms for your istick to fire it). The RBA section is about 12 bucks according to that article. If you didn't want to use that, you could try using the 0.4 ohm coil available for the tank. It will let you run somewhere in the 20-35 watt area. More watts don't always equal a better vape, though. Some people never see the need to go past 7 or so watts. It all comes down to personal preference. Higher wattage will typically result in more clouds, but it will also burn through more juice.

If you decided you wanted to be able to run at higher powers, your other options would be to look into a new tank. A tank that I am very fond of is the Kanger Subtank Mini. It is a perfect fit for the 50w istick. You won't be able to use all 50 watts out of the istick with the subtank, but you should be able to run around 25 watts all day long with no issues if you are using the 0.5 ohm coils. Those coils would be better for a direct lung inhale. If you want to do mouth to lung, you are probably better with what you currently have, although the subtank mini does have a 1.2 ohm coil available that should be ok for mouth to lung.

What speedy_r6 says: you probably now have the 1.8ohm coils in there, they go to 13w, probably these:

$13.26 Authentic Aspire Triton Replacement Coil Head (5-Pack) 5-pack - 1.8ohm(10-13W) / kanthal at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

If you want to use higher wattage you have several options with this tank:

- use the rba, and make your own coils. But if you are a novice I would wait till your a bit more comfortable with the vaping scene. If you go this route always buy an ohm meter to check your coils before firing them in your device! (to make sure it's correct and also that it's not shorting...keep it safe)
so you'll need at least:
$7.98 Authentic Aspire Triton RTA System Accessories Kit at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
and:
$5.86 Atomizer Resistance Tester (Ohm Meter) - eGo/510 connector / 2*AA / black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

and of course wire and cotton (I advice to start with just 28G kanthal and some japanese cotton) and some tools (like wire clipper and perhaps a coiler)
some examples:
$2.74 Kanthal A1 Heating Wire for Rebuildable Atomizers - 28 AWG (0.32mm) / 10m (30 feet) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$1.52 LTQ Vaper Japanese Organic Cotton for RDA RTA RBA Rebuildable Atomizers (10-Pack) - 60*50mm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$5.89 Coil Master E-Cigarette Wire Coil Winder - black / 1.0 + 1.5 + 2.0 + 2.5 + 3.0mm poles at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

but as said before my advice would be to wait a bit with this until you have some understanding of ohm's law etc.
But if you feel comfortable enough than go for it!

- Another option is to buy "ready to go" lower ohm coils for the Triton, some options are:

$13.42 Authentic Aspire Triton Replacement Coil Head (5-Pack) 5-pack - 0.4ohm(25-30W) / 316L at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
which let's you take it to 30W

or:
$13.42 Authentic Aspire Triton Replacement Coil Head (5-Pack) 5-pack - 0.3ohm(45-55W) / 316L at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
which let's you take it all the way up to 50w

Just like speedy_r6 also said: Keep in mind that vaping at higher wattage is not for everyone, I for example don't like it. It usually requires direct lung hits (DL) which means you vape directly into your lungs as opposed to mouth to lung (MTL, take the vape in your mouth first than into your lungs, like when you smoke)

The examples I gave here are from fasttech, but there are ofcourse plenty of shops who sell this stuff.
Keep in mind that if you do try to order stuff from fasttech that is from the company "Aspire" that you have to pay with bitcoins or a gift certificate (the latter can be aquired by buying something else and than canceling that order, or purchased at their mobile site (search for fasttech mobile)).

Welcome my friend. I would like to tell you other side of the coin. This is of course my choice and numerous old guys (I dont know why :) ) do as I do.
My experience is any atomizer from 0.5 - 1.8 can provide big vapours with the smallest option of watts your device provides. Fogs clouds I cant understand (Never judging them though) because less the resistance and bigger the watts your battery will be more vulnerable. I use them 7 watts and it prolongs the battery life too. and the vapour I produce highly satisfying. Yes it can provide 50Watts but a car can have a 360km/h dial but its best and most economic speed would be 60-90 km/h.

That looks like an Aspire Triton tank.

You need to be careful of the coil heads that goes in the bottom of the tank.

NEVER EVER get Nickel coils as long as you use the Istick 50 battery or mod.

Nickel coils are fine in Temperature Control (TC) mode. To use TC you MUST have a battery or mod capable of TC. If memory serves the Istick 50 can't do TC.

In TC mode Nickel is OK but in power ,(wattage,) mode the Nickel can oxydize and Nickel oxide in your lungs is not a good career move.

I tootle along at 12.5 watts-17.5 watts depending on the ohms rating AND the level of airflow of the Atomizer I am using.

If a person wants clouds they need to get some high VG ejuice.

I DIY my ejuice I prefer 70% VG 30% PG.

I disagree. I buy stuff from fasttech quite often.

Yes they have bit coin option but they also do Pay Pal. With Pau Pal you can used money sent to Pay Pal, an echeck that comes out of the bank account linked with Pay Pal, or if you don't currently have a Pay Pal account you can pay with any debit or credit card you have.

When I set up my Pay Pal account 15 years ago there was only 5000 or so members. Now there are 100+ million users of Pay Pal.

Yes you can pay most stuff with paypall and with CC, but not stuff from Aspire.
I buy nautilus coils from them quite often (for my Kabuki)...and they won't let me pay with paypall or CC. Got something to do with them selling it below Aspire prices or some such thing I'm told.

I am making the assumption that this goes for all Aspire products, but I'll admit that is an assumption, so maybe that is indeed not the case.

edit: checked with Triton coils, and it is the same, no paypall or CC
