I'd love to own a Provari to be completely honest, but cost is always prohibitive for me, so I have an istick that was donated to me by penguiness and my MVP.
The reason that the Provari does appeal to me is that it is made in the US and the fact they can repair the dickens out it should it fail. It also doesn't have threads that fail etc. I feel you do get what you pay for in terms of Provari and similar mods, but unfortunately that doesn't make it any less expensive :/

A smiley does kind of make everything better. :p

Oh man if you and Penguiness are a handful what happens if I am there too. Poor Lexington.

It is going to be a blast! I am a bit subdued at times but just add caffeine and nicotine and something to take the edge of pain and look out - Katie bar the door!

I can't say with any certainty that I will make it but I am certainly planning it and will do my best to make it happen. I am at the whim of freight. I can't justify time off right now. It is the slow time for freight and we need to keep the truck running to keep me in juice and shiny things, right? I will know the week before probably. It is hard to book anything this far in advance. It's not looking bad though.

I keep teetering back and forth over leaving my pups boarded at the vet, I know they will be fine but the big softy in me doesn't want to so I can go to the meet. One day I am going for sure the next but my wittle pup wups will be scared.

I haven't ever left them that long and Dad is haVing a moment over it. :p

Yep, Strawnilla is not on my reorder list. However, I do seem to enjoy it more with some CLS or CB or Frenilla added.

Funny thing is, I like NT because it is full of flavor. That was the biggest selling point (other than my chats with Clark) when I started. I could actually TASTE NT juice when most everything else was just meh. It doesn't always taste like others say it does but I love it anyway. My taste buds are just all messed up, but they are MY taste buds and I will defend them unto death!!!

You like yummy mushrooms. Proof there is not a single thing wrong with your tastebuds ;)

I felt the same way when I boarded mine (not these two, but the two before). They were boarded together and had lots of play time with the other pups. I think they really enjoyed it and, of course they were happy to see me, but they didn't seem like they had been scarred by the experience. When we went back for the next round of boarding, they were not at all upset. They greeted the people there with all sorts of prances and kisses. That made me feel a lot better. They would huddle and shake when we went to the vet so I know they were telling me they liked the kennel.

I love mushrooms. I got about 5 cases of mushrooms from one of my produce drops. Most of them were huge Portobellos. I made Portobello pizza (the mushroom is the crust) and every other recipe I could find. It was heaven for a week or so. They were just at prime when I got them...couldn't be sold in that condition and they didn't last long enough to go bad with us.

Oh heck naw yall think I am little off if I brought this concrete chewing dog of mine..... She's already started eating the foundation and siding off the house the hotel probably would frown on that. :D

The hotel may need some renovations and will thank you for it later!

Oh she would renovate, as soon as I left the room it would be on.

ETA : She's already renovated the couch, carpet in the bedroom, whole back yard, siding and foundation. Gotta love "rescuing" an "American bulldog".

I totally agree! I don't own an American Bulldog but they sound just about like a Rottweiler. If it needs to be torn down just let Bear know. He'll take care of it in short order...nothing is sacred!

There is a Petsmart Pet Hotel just a few blocks away. Those are wonderful places to take your dog during the daytime. They get to socialize with people and they play with them.

All kidding aside I'd love to bring her but being a pit bull and young and rambunctious I have to be careful with tolerance for them being at an all time low because of dumb... owners. It would be safer for her to be with people who she and I both know. She is a sweet dog but still a puppy and learning, typed as she is laying with her head in my lap snoring. :)

I don't know about you, but all three of my "rescues" kind of "rescued" me during some hard times in my life.

We do love our companions.

I would have to agree, she drives me nuts and keeps me sane all at the same time. Buster is awesome too not a rescue and not "my" dog but he is pretty dang special as well. :)

Now y'all are going to think I am really off but ... well... erm...have you ever shared your canned whipped cream with your pup? I am bad. I have been known to take the cap off and spray some in my mouth now and again. As soon as the pups hear the sprrrriiitt of the can, they come running. I spray some in their mouths. They are very good about it and don't lick the nozzle. The cat, not to be denied, stands around saying "Mrrrow, Mrrrow" until she get her little dab of whipped cream in a bowl.

Yep. I am twisted and I don't care who knows it. My animals are spoiled rotten. They deserve it. They love me unconditionally and that deserves some spoiling! Not to mention hazardous duty pay!

I know it is probably not good for any of us but it is really low in carbs...just the fat content that is bad. And, we only have it in the house for holidays, so there!
