Neighbors who smoke infuriate me!!!

When I was a smoker I had the common sense of knowing that my smoke does stink and would take measures to smoke away form my apartment building so I wouldn't bother others. Now I have these areshole neighbors in the next building not 30 feet away from my patio doors who smoke multiple times a day. Our buildings have about 20 -15 feet of space between them so there is no wind or airflow really. All their smoke finds its way into my living room/bedroom whenever we have our doors or windows open. I loathe these people. I kinda want to buy water balloons and bombard them with said balloons every time they are out there smoking.

I wouldn't say that. Even when I was a smoker, I always tried to smoke away from others, especially in my apartment complex. I always thought people who smoked close to open windows were d-bags. In fact, one time I did smoke on my patio in my old appt and my neighbor complained, I felt like a ........

Well... have you tried complaining? It worked for your neighbour, maybe it will work for you. It could be that explaining the problem politely is all that's needed to get them to stop.

I'm sorry DarthSnoopyFish, but I don't get it. They are smoking outside, 30 feet away from your door and you object to all their smoke. And we don't like it when people object to our vaping outside in public places.

Maybe it's just too early in the morning and I need a coffee.

If I'm understanding this correctly, you want to tell your next door neighbors they can't smoke outside on their patio because you can smell it? Good luck with that. Tell them its for the children, seems to work with every other freedom we've given up in the USA as we become a nanny state.

I think you are asking too much. They are outside on their own patio smoking, this is what people do. Maybe you should close your doors and windows if it bothers you. Just my opinion of course.

If you invite them round to your house you can set some house rules for them, in their house, it's their rules.
