It's OK. The one that was $18.50 was cheap looking and the spring was wonky. The biggest problem with the FT clones is the pins are never properly fitted in the switch, so wobble is almost a given unless you get one where the tools were sharp when they cut it. If you're dabbling in mech mods, is it bad? Not really. I will say that for how many clones I've messed with at $20-50, you're almost better picking up a used Nemesis on the classifieds here for $100-150. I realize that's a significant price difference, but well worth it in the long term.

Well, I really dislike the flimsy locking ring on the nemesis and clones. Very thin and seems like the threads could strip easily. Actually, I had the locking ring in the locked position and was building a new coil for the Igo sitting atop the nemesis, put some slight pressure on it while it was standing up on the table, and the locking ring went straight up to the firing position. So, basically it is a useless locking ring and I don't trust it to the point that I will not carry it around with me in my pocket.

I have a stainless steel, bronze and gunmetal chrome Nemesis from FastTech. All are decent. All required a bit of polishing of the switch. All mine use magnets. I also have a few sets of the aluminum anodized tubes from FastTech along with their hybrid and semi-hybrid adapters. All decent stuff.

It looks nice and hits good but I hate the switch alot. I wanted one but after playing with my brothers Im glad I didnt order it. Seems like he is always adjusting the switch or something on it. besides that the switch in gritty feeling, even with the magnet upgrade it is not amazing.

Alot of people like it, it will work but its not my favorite mod.

like others have said, there are sooo many Nem clones on FT to choose from. but I have 2 Hcigar (1 brass, 1 ss) from pre-orders and they are MUCH better quality than the copper Nem clone I got from FT. Engravings look better and feel deeper, switches are smoother. But it could have just been a qc issue, I've heard ppl complain on the Hcigar ones just as much. That's the beauty of China's manufacturing, it's like a lottery.

My local B&M carries the SS, Brass, and Copper Nemes by HCigar. I've tried all three and they work wonderful...properly set up, no crunchiness in the switch. The Brass seemed to be the smoothest in operation, the copper seemed to hit the hardest, and IMO the brushed Stainless was the most attractive as the seams between tubes were virtually nonexistent. They had several original mods as well, ( King and Chi you as well as a few I am not familiar with)..and again IMO the nemesis clone was better than the originals they carried. Great value for the dollar. Can't recommend a FT as I've never tried one, but the HCigar was top notch.
