How large is your switch gap?

I adjust all mine to about 1mm so it just misses the lock ring when firing. This seems to keep the button from wobbling and rattling.
I also placed a 1mm thick nylon washer under the bottom magnet to narrow the gap between magnets. This boost the field when at maximum and helps stabilize the switch.

When in the lock position my battery holes are fully open.... Does it matter if the holes are halfway just don't want to get to much heat

Mine rest just at the lower edge of the holes. They are not for heat but for Additional Venting in case of a battery runaway. Not to worrd. Look at your switch threading. there are 3 equal spaced Grooves. These are also Vents, functional in the Unlocked position and can release much more pressure than the tiny holes.

I cut cardboard and masking tape washers but your 1mm nylon washer sounds nice. Can tweak switch firmness from soft to hard w/ washers like everybody said.

I always torque firing pin to be sure it stays put. On one switch I shimmed pin for short throw.

I discarded locking pin from my 3 nemesis clones because I prefer free switch button rotation; switch post grease provides sufficient friction for switch adjustment.

A spot of blue Loctite will hold the switch screw. Then you can set any height needed. I prefer to make the proper adjustment to compensate for different battery lengths and always have my switch screwed into the mod Tight. I also never remove the thing Ring as it is an esthetic part of the Mod.

Ever so often in 18650 my bottom switch will come apart mid fire.....like the brass pin is a tad bit to short....then again I can't get the beauty ring/ smallest ring or kick ring off of my top cap....help me before I crater my brass nemmy with some pliers lol

Clean mod then stick masking tape on stuck ring for more traction. Grip at different clockings; 3 and 9, 12 and 6, etc.
