Nemesis magnets

I want to upgrade my nemesis fire button to magnets, but there is so many different places that sell them, not sure where is the best place to get them, I don't want to order 2-3 sets to find a good set, so I am going to ask the members of ECF, where is the best place to get the nemesis magnets? I want cheap of course, but want them to work well too, and not interested in using a china site for these, but ebay is fine, thanks

fatdaddyvapes.com has strong ones that let your nemesis stand upright without firing. I've tried other sites and the magnets worked but they were too weak.

They are 2mm thick, instead of 1mm like others I tried, and they work fabulously.

Not a Fan of the 2mm magnets unless you have extended contacts, the bottom contact when tightened doesn't make contact unless you back out the contact some. I would recommend fatdaddy. Proper strength, size and thickness.

Gee, IDK, I don't have extended contacts, and the 2mm magnets are working great for me. I tried FatDaddy's magnets but they would not keep the mech from firing when it was standing unlocked, and that's what I was after.

+ 1 and have used several different ones before settling on FatDaddyVapes as well as his pins and replacement contacts. I found the 2mm ones besides what was said previously they also are hard on someone with a bit arthritics hands like me. The ones sold at fasttech take 3 and still sometimes fires with a kayfun on it without locking it. They fasttech one also break real easy.

i got mine from vape royalty, they are working pretty well.....i've since read there are better options in terms of magnets though

i may get the extension contacts from fatdaddys

All 3 of my hcigar nemesis clones came from them and I got one set with their magnets to try. I found the mod would fire when sitting unlocked with anything on it larger than an IGO-W.

mine seems to pretty down with a hypertank attached to the top as well with the magnets in it.

I realize the OP doesnt want FT magnets but;

I picked up a 10 pack of FT magnets. My Nemesis would fire with just two in it (with a 18650 and a full size Kayfun 3.1 on it).

Three magnets did the trick however. Two in the base, one on the top.

After polishing the switch (and a lot of attention the the groove the rice pin rides in) it performs just superb and stands unlocked no problem.

Just a bit of effort and that clone is rockin now!

You have to sand down the delrin isolator ring a bit. I removed 1mm from it to be able to tighten the screw and get a decent contact. The result was a very short and smooth throw and the switch doesn't wiggle anymore. I was also able to tighten the button assembly on the tube so it doesn't need retightening every few actions.

I have the two magnets from fatdaddy, my nemesis will still fire as well when its sat down unlocked. Can you explain where a third magnet should go? I know you said on top but i'm not sure what that means. I put all three at the bottom and that didn't really help either.

two of them stuck together would go in the bottom of the button, the third one is the opposite charge...i call it the floating magnet...i believe that is what he means

I ended up using one 2mm and one 1mm. Works fine and doesn't fire standing up.
