That was the route I took. It took some fiddling with the firing pin/screw but it's really, really nice now. I ordered another set of the 2mm thick magnets today. I got a brass nemesis second hand off reddit that came in the mail today. It had the typical magnet setup with the thinner magnets already installed. The switch is sloppy and weak compared to the setup I detail in the above thread. It's better than the factory spring setup but my other two nemmys are so much nicer with the very short and stiff throw.

My magnets turned up from fatdaddy today, so quick shipping, got them installed in a few minutes, and so far so good. I normally use the nemesis at work, so use it with kayfun's, I don't normally set it down without the locking ring, but did try it just to see if would fire with the magnets, and it did not, so very happy for the price
