From everything that I have seen and experienced, the blue LED indicates that it is an auto battery and the green LED indicates that it is a manual battery .. although Mark did comment that the generic auto white 10 second battery has an orange LED.
I tried all of my carts (old and new) on the batteries and there doesn't seem to be a problem.
Well.... I have my passthru in my left hand and my new Black/BLUE LED in my right both have the same new carts on them. The only difference between them is I cant hit that 10sec cutoff. This is exactly what I was looking for and that was a battery that would have as good or close to the performance of my loved passthru. I now feel like I dont have to be chained to my desk.
The bad.... I just threw away 15 new carts because they will not work with the no slotted battery. I unscrewed them a little to get some air and it must be just enough that no contact can be made.Yes I could of kept them and used them in my passthru (both autos bite the dust btw), but I would forget and they would end up in my case that I take to work with me and I would be a very unhappy Steve.
Even with the slot thing this battery Rocks Steve
never heard of it till an hour ago. With my luck I would somehow kill my new battery but it sure looks like it would.
Yeah, the staple mod will work. I had this issue yesterday and the staple mod fixed it right up.
I said this a couple minutes ago, and I'll say it again. Seems odd that V4L would sell products that are incompatible with each other without using the staple "mod" or taking a dremel to them.
I understand Mark. That just sucks for people who are all excited to get a new batch of carts (or start vaping for the first time) and find out that they need to wait longer for another shipment.
edit - maybe you should have a different spot on the site for the unslotted carts. I just think it would be helpful to know what you're getting. Not a big deal, just saying...
Nah, I haven't. Just read in this thread that some people have. That's all.
