New 18350s Not Holding Charge

Hello.

I'm new to mods, and I'm stumped.

I'm using brand new AW 18350 batteries in a brand new Saber Touch Mini, and today it seems that neither battery will hold a charge longer than an hour. Yesterday both seemed to work longer, though I didn't time it - 3 or 4 hours, maybe. I'd assumed that they weren't lasting because they'd been sitting around waiting for the mod to arrive, so I recharged according to the directions. But today it's worse, and I can't imagine what I'm doing wrong.

I'm using an XTar charger supposedly made for this type of battery, and leaving them in only until the light turns from red to green.

Ideas?

How long did it take for the batteries to re-charge?

Well have you metered them off the charger and a couple of hours later (after a rest, not in use) as a test? Without knowing the actual voltage it will be hard to come to any concrete conclusions.

It could just be the "brand new Saber Touch Mini", hard to tell at this point.
