Being new to diy--I wanted to know if u ordered 6mg nic vg/pg mixed--have vg/pg 35/65 mixed--do I need to add any vg/pg to the nic mixture or will that only dilute it further. I have one person whom does 6mg nic and another that does 0mg nic--is this the correct items to make mixtures for both--purchased menthol flavoring and some choco mint flavoring--so to make 6mg nic menthol and choc just add those together per calculations to make one with nic and the other just add the vg/pg mixture with menthol and choc to make the other?

if the nic BASE that you ordered already has both PG/VG, then yes, adding PG or VG will dilute it further and offset your nic ratio. Even the flavorings will do that, so if you mix 20% flavor into 6% nice base, you will likely reduce your nic by 1-2% (I'm too lazy to do the math right now).

Also, most flavors are PG based, so it also offsets your PG/VG ratio by a margin. Most people wouldn't even notice the difference but if you are mixing 20% or more flavor, the difference is somewhat significant.

Keep it simple. If you have two different bases, one with nic and the other without, just create seperate batches and use the same level of flavoring for both, and see how it comes out. I would think the batch without nic might need some "ummpf", so you may want to adjust the recipe for that one, like adding a few drops of Ethyl Maltol or upping the PG percentage by 5-10% in the ratio.

For cholo-menthol, I'd probaby mix it at 15% choc, 3% menthol, and go from there.

that will basically do it, but remember if you add flavorings, youll be reducing your nic by whatever percentage your flavoring is added.

example- 6mg nic base + 10% flavoring, your juice is 90% base

0.9 * 6mg = 5.4mg final juice

its certainly easier that way, its the way i do it, i dont care much about being exact, i prefer it to be easy.

the same thing goes for the PG/VG ratio, the percentage of flavoring will throw the mix slightly. again i dont care =) but if you wanted to be a good little mad scientist, youll have to take a different approach. =)
