Warning this is a very High Powered mod, it can be used with the smoketech 1.5 ohm dual coil cartomizers with the under load reading about 4.7 volts, plus all other atomizers, and cartomizers. From Vapormoon.com
Note using a Saber Pass-through will decrease the under load to about 3.7 volts due to the High Amps.

With this new 5 volt amp 5 regulator for a $6.95 upgrade is well worth it, if you love dual coil cartomizers.

YOU CAN NOT UPGRADE YOUR EXISTING 5 volt Saber. You will have to buy this as New with the upgrade feature

The one I am using is the limited Edition Satin Black with detail mill work, and Nickel Plated Caps.

I believe this is the only TRUE 5 volt regulated mod you can use with dual coil cartomizers, and it Hits like a freight train.

Good review. That device might just make it on to my "future plans to purchase one" list. There are a few other 5.0v tube mods that can handle the 1.5 ohm dual coils. And there's lots of box mods around that have high amp regulators in them. -- But, this is a good looking mod with a unique feature that can perform the exact job I want it to. I've been running a regulated 5.0v tube for a few days now and I like vaping this way. I also have some 5.0v batteries that work well in other tubes. I've been using those for a couple of months and I discovered that I have no doubt that I'm committed to 5.0v and 3.7 for the near term in my vaping and maybe I've even found the way I want to vape until I ever consider quitting vaping. It would be nice to have a really good looking mod like the sabertouch along for the ride.

Now those other tube mods you are speaking of do they have a True regulator, or just a resistor? Would like to know what other True 5 volt Mod has this kind of regulator.
Now I know that the box mods you speak of just have a resistor, regulators are too big to fit in a box mod.

The monkey boxx has switching regulator. The Big Brother V2 has a switching regulator. I think the majority of VV is done with switching regulators... -- There are several, if not many.

I'm not sure I care if the regulators I use are switching or resisted. As long as they can pass around ~3 amps or just a tad more, I'm good to go.

A couple of questions:

Did you happen to test the load voltage? And what batteries are you using in your video?

Yes the load is 4.9 volts, and the under load is 4.7 volts, and I was using 2 stacked AW IMR 16340 bats 550 mah 3.7 volts.
