New 510 atomisers. Why are some covered in oil?

I have just bought 10 510 atomisers.
I have found some come out of the wrapper and are fine to use straight away. Others are coated in some type of oil and this seems to need 'vaping' off before I can get any draw through a cartridge. Is this normal? and are they safe to use with the coating on? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That is a packing oil. Most atty's will have it in them to keep the coil(part that gets hot) from getting dry and brittle. Just blow it out until a few drops come out and you will be good to go. You can vape it out if you want, but be warned lol, it's nasty.
