New AGR+ Pyrex Carto Tank... Dry vape?

I just ordered a new AGR+ Pyrex carto tank. I was a bit nervous when I saw they changed the design. There is now a metal sleeve where the carto slides inside the pyrex glass tank. On the old version, there was only a carto inside. This sleeve takes up a good amount of juice space. As well, the new design prevents you from removing the top when the device is full. Now, you must use the fill port and a needle. I had given up on the fill port because it caused flooding.

So OK. It's a bit different, but how does it vape? Within 20 or so vapes, it got dry and I started tasting the filler. I let it sit overnight and the first vape was fine, but then it got dry again. So I covered all of the air ports and drew and it gave me a few good vapes.

Does anyone have this tank? Anyone know the secrets?

Make sure the holes in your carto are lined up with the holes in the sleeve. Those tanks work fine but they're a pain. I don't miss them.

Also, make sure whatever you use to fill the tank doesn't seal the fill hole. If air can't escape as you fill, it'll flood.

Thanks! I was wondering about the holes.

I know about flooding from the old version. I used to just remove the top rather then risk the flood. That's not an option wiht the new version.
