New all round vaper

Hi everyone,

Just signed up here after coming across Abby Vapes on YouTube.

I've just brought a Viva Titanium from Vaper Empire. Has anyone else used these?

I had no idea where to start and they looked like they were pretty well made so just brought a starter pack.

Can't wait to have a look around and get rid of that dirty smoking habit!

Cheers,

Mitch.

Hi, and welcome to the board. I am not familiar with the equipment you have purchased, but it looks quite similar to many other similar starter kits. It should work well enough to get you started and see if this vaping thing is going to be of help to you. And it just might be all the gear you ever need. I don't know what types of gear and liquids are available Down Under, but in the states most vape shops have a rack of juices you can test for flavors. A good flavor of juice is important to keep you on the rig instead of the sticks. Tell us how much you smoke and we'll make a recommendation as to what nicotine strength would be a good place to start.

Hello and welcome to the forum @McLeod40. Glad to have you here!:)

I too am not familiar with the product you ordered but in looking at the website (a quick glance) this is what I see.

1. It looks like your set-up has a proprietary connection. i.e. your tank/battery cannot be used with other tanks/batteries. No 510/EGO threaded connection which is the industry standard.

2. No replacement coils (that I saw). If true, this means that when your heating element in the tank (the coil) stops working or ceases to perform well you have to replace the whole tank.

Give it a try, see how it works, and if you find you are spending a lot of money replacing tanks, then maybe an upgrade would be advisable.

Yeah that did cross my mind, and if that's the case then I will definitely looking for other alternatives after I wear these out. :)

Just been doing some research trying to find local stores in Australia, and there's no such thing.

It's currently Illegal to sell eliquid in retail stores, you're only allowed to import up to 3 months of personal use. :(

Going to have to get some advice from everyone on what flavours are the best to start out on I guess!

Mcleod... Hi!

The situation in Australia is messed up. You would do well to sign up to Aussie Vapers to get the full story (I am on there, under a pseudonym).

It's such a shame. Aussies getting taken for a ride on hardware prices and liquids. You need to really do your homework.

I wish you luck. :)

A really good starter kit that gets recommended a lot is the iStick 30W with a Nautilus Mini. You can probably get it for around $60 USD ($82AUD) so it's a bit cheaper than what you bought and might last you a bit longer. Other than that, Welcome to the forums and give a shout out if you need any help.
