I purchased a V2cigs starter pack a couple weeks ago, have been smoke free for a week and this time KNOW I will succeed!

I just discovered this forum today. It's difficult to find objective information on e-cigarettes on the internet. Searches are all clogged up with vendor specific, sometimes misleading advertising. So ECF an excellent find.

Although I am thrilled with new e-cigarette, and am terribly unhappy with V2. The starter kit was fine, and it's gotten me off analogs. I placed a second large order of cartridges and accessories on their website, only to receive a phone call an hour later telling me that most of what I ordered was out of stock for an indefinite period of time.

V2 had already charged my credit card, and the only options they gave me were to either accept "store credit" (from a place that does not keep even their cartridges in stock? NOT!), or wait 2 weeks for the credit to be returned to my card. I told them to credit my card, but now I'm out that amount of cash to spend elsewhere.

I like the disposable cartridges, at least for now. Any recommendations for a reputable supplier?

(also...how do I add an avatar to my profile?)

Congrats on your first week, and thanks for sharing your experience with this company.

No excuse for that type of service...in fact, what they are telling you is 100% AGAINST their own merchant credit card agreement....I'll be sure to NOT order anything from that company.

Personally, I'd tell them they could either issue the refund (which WILL take about 2-4 biz days to show back up on your account from the day they actually do it), or that I would just do a chargeback.

I have hit on some reputable companies in this industry, but I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of these places run by some 20 year old that has no clue how to actually run a business or handle customers, and which are too underfunded to actually be able to issue refunds or correct problems when something goes wrong.
