Hi everyone,
I've been reading the forums occasionally and it's time to join! I started vaping in early Sept. 2012 and gave up the cigs entirely without much trouble after 20+ years of a pack a day. I'm vaping mostly 6 and 0 nic, and once in awhile, for kicks & giggles, a whopping 12 nic coffee-flavor. I enjoy everyone's tips and suggestions and hope you'll help me out with a problem I have as of late. I bought a 1300MaH Ego battery (from China  )3 months ago, which worked fine until my charger broke. I have two brand new 510 chargers that will not accept the 1300MaH battery. It refuses to screw in and just rotates round and round. I can't tell if the interior screw threads on the battery are damaged but my other batteries screw into the chargers just fine. Any ideas how to jerry-rig or repair my 1300MaH battery or is it just a loss? Thanks all!:)

The 510 chargers are probably 200mA, which you shouldn't use on the eGo battery, clone or not. The usb chargers you need should be 420mA (they should be marked on the back under "Output".

Hard to tell on your threads.. you may be out of a battery. 1st Rule in vaping. Have backups!!

That's a really good question for me! The chargers have 5105 printed on them, as I just checked. I think I've made a big mistake, altho the ad on the website I bought them from said they were for Ego-C starter kits (510) also. So far, they've been ok for other batteries including the original starter kit batteries and an upgraded 1100MaH battery, but therein may lie the problem. All batteries hold a charge well except the miserable 1300. Back to the drawing board?

Ok, sounds like they "should" be the right chargers if they came with Ego-C starter kits. Usually a "510 charger" refers to a charger that charges the 510 cig-a-like batteries that needs an adapter to charge Ego batteries and an "Ego charger" defines one for charging Ego batteries.

Since it sounds like it should be the right chargers no clue what the problem is. Sorry :(

Thanks for all the replies everyone. I think it's a battery thread problem since my other batteries screw in easily & charge fully with the new chargers. I probably got a crappy Chinese 1300MaH battery that lived a short but happy life. I've had reservations about buying from China and buy e-liquids only from the states especially if all ingredients are USA made. I think I'll just have to fork over a bit more cash for better quality batts from more reliable websites in future.
