Hello all. I just received my e-cig yesterday and I'm not too impressed. I DID purchase the BluCig...I DIDN'T do my research. It's just not cutting it.

I've done a little research, watched a couple videos and I'm now interested in a couple others. The first being the Green Smoke, closely followed by the Bloog Fusion.

The Green Smoke kit looks to be quite a reach for my budget which is why I found the Bloog to be the second option. I've heard some great things about these two, but I would really appreciate some more input...whether its reassurance or a slap in the face.

Thanks.

Welcome and congratulations!

1. Go BIG! Invest in one of the bigger ENIs (longer battery life, better vapor production).

2. Cartomizers are ok, but atomizers (cartridge is separate) are easier to refill.

3. Consider mixing your own juice; you will have more control over flavor and strength not to mention the cost savings.

These are just some suggestions that fit me; however, may or may not fit you?

I just read a LOT about Bloog's (older products?) and was impressed. I guess they had many problems with various things but customers were still satisfied. From what I understand, Bloog has put out the Fusion, an upgraded version with many of the original bugs fixed.

If I'm totally wrong about any of this, I would really like to know ASAP as I've pretty much decided to purchase the Bloog Fusion tomorrow. If anybody thinks this is a bad idea, by all means, grad me by the collar and shake me...let me know what's up.

I'll definitely be keeping things updated here let you know how things go. You guys are great...Keep up the good work!

If you're looking for ease of use and battery life, just get an Ego. It's a 510 on steroids..it lasts anywhere between 6-10 hours depending on your vaping style. Or, you could purchase a regular 510 kit from cignot first, see whether or not you like it, but most people do, and THEN upgrade to the Ego..you can still use the atties and carts from your regular 510 kit.

Good luck and welcome to ECF!! :)

this is 100% exactly what I did.. 2 months with the regular 510 nobox kit, and then upgraded to an eGo last week. Didn't want to spend the extra cash till I knew for sure i was off the cigs. I HIGHLY recommend this route unless you're 100% sure you are off the cigs and have the cash, just go for the eGo.

cignot.com is the supplier I let most folks know about for kits. MsT's Bakery and NHaler for juices. I like the nhaler lung juices :)

Good luck and welcome to being analog freeeeeee!

I'm a newbie also I feel your pain, I quit smoking 4 years ago and I got my PCC-510 last week, Wednesday. Out of the box The aty was defective and didn't work consitantly it was the only one I got with the kit so I called and they send me another plus I ordered an extra one. Received them both on Saturday and either my batteries or the PCC it self took a dump so now I'm SOL. So I got creative and use a 9 volt battery:oops: And just touched the atty to the terminals for short burts of heat....LOL

And I ordered MY PERSONAL STARTER KIT a pass thru and manual batteries and a differant charger all 510 stuff I plan on sending the PCC back and having it all replaced or getting my money back I hope. This way if the batteries die I have a back up which I feel that is important with any addiction reducing or stopping or helping tool... Because you cant just run to the gas station yet and get replacements....

I feel that all the starter kits should come with a pass thru and a extra aty so you don't have the start up hicups like I did. Basicly I'm the guinie pig for some people who smoke and are very close to me. I lost my Dad, Mom, and both grand parents to Smoking if I can help other people switch or quit it's worth the pita.

I read the failures I'm hoping my next trial is a better one.

Good luck from what I've read once you get past the start up issues your good to go I'm sure there is a post on how to prevent start up issues. I just didn't find it in time I was to excited......

I started with the joye 510 and got an eGo 2 weeks later! So .... you can skip all the trials and just go with an eGo, I'm pretty sure you'll be quite happy with it. Fortunately the eGo uses 510 attys so those of us who upgraded haven't lost out, we've just got more batts we can use!

I also agree on the Tasty Vapor suggestion, mmmm!

Thank you. That's what I like to see. I'm way too deep into the impulse buying. I've always been a little impatient.

But, thanks to your advice, I'll put off making my purchase for a while and look into that.

Any advice from anybody is highly encouraged. I'm just a Nooblet.

Read, read & re-read in this forum, you'll save yourself a lot of money in the future.
